    Very useful, quite convenient to do it in blender than to do it in photoshop. Thanks!

    when I save the erase alpha texture and re imported in another blend file it doesn't keep alpha information and paint those zones in black even if I set alpha clip and everything

      When saving the texture make sure you're saving it as RGBA. Connect the alpha of the texture to the shader alpha. Try it with alpha blend to see if it works.

    Hi! I'm having a problem with my blender project and hoping a kind soul wants to help me.
    I accidentally caused the right arm and hand to become kind of transparent, while working on it, I think. not alt+z.
    Could it have anything to do with it being the mirror of another object ?
    It's the mirrored arm and hand of the left hand/arm.
    I watched your youtube video about alpha channels, and checked the opaque blend mode, which was not the problem.
    its only the right arm and hand that are kind of transparent. They only are when turning certain directions. When looking straight from the side, they seem fine
    I hope someone could help fix it so it's not transparent.

      Without seeing the file it's tough for me to figure what the issue could be. One guess i can make from what you're explaining is some of the faces of your mesh have flipped faces, and due to backface culling you can't see the mesh from a particular angle and still see it from another. Check to see if your face normals are correct.

      @@CGiJutsu thank you for responding. Disabling backface culling resolved it.

      Google was my friend back then. It’s somewhere on the right side, properties maybe ? If you look through everything you have on the right side, you will find it eventually.

      In the right side menu in the material properties, under the settings dropdown

    dude can you please stop renaming nodes for us new people! finding out what it really is annoying as heck like really? if your doing a how lkto video, keep orginal things there! all i want to do is cut an outfit, to eliminate the mysteroious hole on the opposite side, and the pixel cuts it gives me when i am trying kto cut a smooth cut. like omfg! no one can show how to do this!

    • @CGiJutsu
      @CGiJutsu  Před 2 lety +2

      None of the nodes are renamed. Blender assigns the name of the image to the image texture node. You clearly need to spend time learning the bare basics of the software, which you obviously haven't and are trying to find shortcuts.
