Harry was not a qualified Helicopter Gunship Pilot. After 3 years training, he "gave up" ie failed, and "qualified" - was given the title of "Apache Helicopter Commander". Sounds impressive (he was a prince) but his role was as a co-pilot GUNNER. A Gunner is a Gunner - the co-pilot bit was probably another sop to his royalness.
Esther must be the most perfect woman in the world. So beautiful, really intelligent and not afraid to speak her mind.

Agree with Esther, false accusers should get what the innocent "rapist" would have received. accusations of racism proved in court should receive penalties as well, and if the contention is not proved in court the accuser gets jail time.

I live if Cornwall our one main hospital goes into crisis 6-8 times a year, spring,summer,winter, does not make a difference. The census showed the population has risen 8% yet we have less GPs,less hospital beds etc etc yet the population can double during summer due to tourism….Cornwall is absolutely dire for healthcare

I spent half an hour going through theatre bins looking for a gauze (in the 70{s) so IT could be counted before closing. Negligence by theatre staff is NOT acceptable it is lazy!
Nadia misses out on a hattrick of being my Plank of the Week by actually having two worthy nominations. Though it isn't just the College of Psychologists, Jordan Peterson's enemies are out to get him any way they can - always have been. In any other week, Nadia might just be plank of the week for her defence of the Duke of Insufferable, but frankly you'd really have to go some to outplank the man himself.
with Charles and the coronation, Harry and Megs may do a FOUR peat!! I think they should hide for the year and give other contestants a shot at Plank of the Year. On the other hand, a FOURTH plank of the year for them would be rather cool!

I still prefer the original POTW before talkRADIO became Talk TV.

Khan is a disaster without doubt,but frankly, London has got what is asked for; they had the chance recently to remove him, and did not… reap what you sow.

I have watched Plank of the Week from the start; and, alas, the adjustments have kept spoiling the thing.
First of all, the consensus voting was better than this monarchically abrupt decision.
Second, the original programme was usually 45 minutes long; then clipped down to 30, which I disliked; and then increased to 45 again, only to have four commentators instead of two. The four is too noisy: so often the brassiest opinions are the only ones to boil over.
The prevkous format of two guests in 45 minutes was much more successful: as it gave each guest a chance to say their piece, and it offered a different tone every time as the three-way thing worked differently in relaxed conditions.
You can see the strain: whenever Mike Graham is hurrying his guests on, this means the format is too stressed..
