Thanks! This was very helpful in trying to decide how to carve my colonial cheekpiece.

Was this a course on rifle building? I'd very much like to see more of this type of content.

Is there a building class in Pennsylvania? I know of a few black powder shops ( I own a Lyman). But, I want to take a class on building these rifles. I'm particularly interested in shaping my own stock and go from there. But I need the extra information and skills to do it.

Where do I find the checkering tool used in the video? I've looked everywhere with no luck.

He should have let the student do it after demonstrating it, rather than just doing it himself... I would have been pissed if it was my stock...

Seeing the way he was using a hacksaw rather than the tenon saw he could hardly have made a worst job of it! And this is supposed to be a professional class!
