Would you say the single player is worth it?
It's about 5 hours long with just following the objectives on a straight path. There are a bunch of collectibles to find that give you a good amount of background information. Like some character motives and such. But really the Single Player just seems to be training for multiplayer. Since it makes you play most of the character classes. Hell, on the last level it still pauses gameplay to give the player information which really broke the flow for me. I also found the story to be pretty lackluster. There is some depth to the characters, but not a whole lot and the story basically ends how it started(Granted it fits the theme of the game). Should also be noted that you can play the entire story co-op with a friend. Which is definitely more fun than by yourself. So I would say its pretty decent IF you're already interested in the multiplayer.

yep : ) i also think the characters of the knight and samourai storyline are more interesting.. i like the complex side of the knight storyline and the culture,duty and tradition of the samourai...
i play way too much world of warcraft to be interest in "for the horde" type of characters
I liked the knight because he deals with the eternal struggle of duty and honor and later on he ended up contradicting his own oath and broke his own codes with the belief he was doing good and then the fear of rising up to a power greater than him but he did anyways. That's what I think anyways, just trying to give the game more depth than it really has to be honest. The game still very good, it's just that the campaign isn't really anything to brag about in depth but there are certainly still some pretty good parts in it but it's better than most story campaigns that are titled under ubisoft. The game averages out to maybe 5-6 hours for campaign on normal which isn't really bad but it takes way longer on realistic mode which I did. So to me it ranks either average or just a little bit above average story mode wise.

Bryan Wheelock she wasn't a bad guy in the sense that she had a plan for a "greater good", that wasn't in her own benefit completely. She weeded out the "aristocracy" or "nobles" and kept the warriors because after 1000 years of nothing but fighting, they would be stronger as a whole, and find peace through brutality and eventual morality. Apollyon had to be that great evil, so no one else would. She didn't do it the best way for our society, but for theirs, it made perfect sense. Apollyon wasn't the "bad guy". She was just a relentless warrior who fought for a stronger people.

These knights look more of something from a fantasy than real history.
Happyfunrun it has a sense of truth buth it focuses on a fictional tale, the knights themselves are somewhat fictional but the weaponry and armor are legitimate. And besides they seem to be real knights, asks for peace, leaves with a burning village and a band wagon of food and spoils
The weapons and armor are absolutely not historically accurate.
This whole game is pure fantasy - vikings especially. Sure you can find historical stuff in here but it is glued with fantasy stuff and mixed with things from a different periods/centuries.
Also, since it is Ubi game, it is automatically "no, no" for me ;)

It's all about preference. If I feel like using a fast character, I'd use Orochi. If I want to be a tank, I pick Lawbringer. If I want to be a complete asshole, I pick Shugoki.

All of these bosses on realistic difficulty were an amazing 10 hours, especially the end one. (Had to do it fucking twice cause my game froze)

The one we got was okay, but was essentially just a glorified tutorial. If they flushed it out, gave it more attention, it could have been awesome.

There are no bad guys, the blackhardt legion was for the people, as much as they seemed evil they were actually making the human race stronger and making the strong succseed instead of the rich. Also the knights arent the blackhardt, the blackhardt are an army of disspanded knights.

Nope, they ended up deciding that peace is a good thing to 'try'. They might have rallied some supporters, but if let's say France launched an attack on Russia and Russia launches an attack on China (because why not, and they're closer) then France and China call for peace 2 months later, do you think ALL Russians, French, and Chinese will accept? Nope, they are gonna be pissed about losing loved ones, and looking for the idiots who proposed peace.

It would be cool if at First Apolion was just 100% unbeateble. But there would be cutscene Where other heroes arrive and all three fight super OP boss at once.
