Fun fact about starbucks in South Africa is it is struggling to keep its doors open because it came late into the market here in South Africa and has to compete against companies like vida e Café (has 305 stores open) and Seattle Coffee Co. (85 stores open) and starbucks only has 13 stores. The first store was opened in 2010. And now the up and coming Motherland Coffee company is also expected to rise higher than starbucks

I've been to SA three times and I haven't yet driven there. I will do this on my next trip to SA. I'm sure it will be a challenge from driving in the USA. I would have to remind myself to drive on the opposite side. Lol I've been to Rosebank and Sandton, you can also take the Gautrain to these locations and to the airport and Pretoria. Nice place indeed.
South Africa is so beautiful I will visit one day.
Rosebank is also a place where you get world class art galleries, if you love the arts. Once every first Thursday of each month art galleries and museums are open for free where you can view some of the best art that South Africa and Africa can offer.
The work you two are doing is incredible! I was leaning towards relocating to East Africa but because of your videos, I am feeling a pull towards South Africa. Thank you for showcasing SA! You’ve certainly opened my eyes.
The fact that most of us South Africans are chilled and laid back people naturally does make our country under advertised but I promise you this place will take your breath away every chance it gets. I'm South African but I never get used to the kind of beauty the country has. Outstanding natural scenery fused with world class infrastructure. If you have cash which is the advantage you will have coming from the US this place will certainly feel like heaven on earth. And I'm not even trying to sell it to you. Just facts.

We deal with to fight for change. I know it sounds crazy but home is where the heart is. But I encourage black Americans to travel to Africa to get a taste of what's life there. I've been to SA three times and I love the country.
I love my country and very proud of it, but I just can't help but feel the timing is not right yet for African Americans to move to SA at the moment.

Maybe just come for a visit first and get acquainted with the people. It's possible you may not want to leave, but personally I just feel don't relocate as yet.

Rosebank is my favorite town. I like everything about it, even the color of the buildings on Jan Smuts Rd. We go to Rocco Mamas all the time there.
