you can’t blame Roblox. The community is wanting classic games in the event when most classic games aren’t even being updated anymore.
There were still plenty of options, flood escape, epic mini games, natural disaster survival, the list goes on
Meanwhile mm2, flood escape, epic mini games, natural disaster, jailbreak, etc
The creator of Mm2 doesn't allow it, pretty sure. There was just a small amount of time to plan it.
I know there’s at least enough willing games to make it a 1:1 classic to modern game ratio based on what I’ve seen on Twitter. It seems most games weren’t even invited (flood escape, pizza place, natural disaster, zombie rush, etc.)
@@XyloNe112 Seeing how Crazyblox is updating the game right now (e.g. shortcuts in maps never being fixed for years and basically just adding community maps), I'm not really sure about how FE2 would've ended out.
Also, seeing how so many of the recent games replicated the Classic style so well, I'm not complaining too much on classic games not being added (also, not sure if Jailbreak is really classic).
Also to note, you don't get any reward for killing the boss. And if you consider the sword a reward, you'll be paying 39,999R$

The sad thing is the lack of quality control has always been an issue for dev hunts, the difference now is it is much worse than it ever has been before due to how money hungry the roblox platform is now.
and follower hungry people, i swear it was annoying
this is better than the hunt, mostly from the main lobby holding prizes. also you have 4 items that only take you a few hours before you have them all compared to the hunt where for 1 you had to do 80 fetch quests or be afk for 10 mins
no it was not, the hunt at least has a few decent games, like nds and lt2, this one had straight up dogshit
Yeah if you just want all the items this event is much faster, but in terms of the event as a whole I think the hunt was more enjoyable

they should open some sort of application to get your game in future events, because choosing them based on popularity is not doing the events any justice lol
They should do quality coz some games tried and probably spent days doing stuff in the hunt but in the classic it’s just getting people to play he game for a long time
The difficult part is the free items from the people that are admin and Star creators and developer. which is very impossible for me to get it as quickly before the event ends. I feel sorry for those people who don't got them. It takes extra time for joining another server, and the worst part is the private server that told me i don't have permission to join..

The planning part is so real. Its either don't play the event or don't study for finals. Ridiculous
Ngl roblox was rlly ment to do 10 days for the classic event but roblox decided to do 5 and i totally agree about everything u say modern games and not to say they should've done mm2,bloxburg,zombie rush,brookhaven and more everything is so boring😢
The quest for getting token is very grindy in some of the games. Specially with you having 5 days to collect them... bruh.
I agree with you exactly on the game choices. I wasn't too concerned with doing the quests, I cared mostly about trying out the older games. Not too easy when there are NO CLASSIC GAMES. I immediately thought of LT2 and Natural Disaster Survival but ofc we got skibidi toilet and roblox's #1 source of income Adopt Me.
I haven't played roblox much in years so i didn't know about premium payouts, but it soooo fits David Baszucki.
The tasks were so hit or miss man. It was either elite like Arsenal or Gunfight Arena or a miss like Livetopia or Driving Empire.
I think I liked the bedwars one way too much... I was really fun since I played bedwars a lot back then but the difficulty it literally torture
The event itself was ok but the difficulty just ruined it for me

2:49 I actually enjoyed the Tower defense event the most, though for some reason some people found it "difficult". Not just that it was cool I also think it was one of the easiest ones tbh
The actual real issue, ITS THAT ROBLOX DONT GIVE US THE BEST UGC OF THIS EVENT FOR FREE
Everything about the classic event is annoying because few days ago some devs use the classic Roblox event as a way to get the tick mark and games trying to make you wait longer inside to get robux like adopt me and disliked driving empire so much because they added those game passes same for dragon adventures they added a game pass to find eggs also bedwars wasnt trying to be classic they just added penguins which is random and blade ball has every tix in a single map and people inside the game vote for another map which makes it impossible and hard to complete those trashy quests and in the hub when you defeat the boss all you get is a credits and the sword is for 39999 which is almost 400 dollars I think , I was hoping for lumber tycoon 2 , work at pizza place , natural disaster , but only classic game is bee swarm simulator this event made me disappointed but still fun
I wish the Happy Home had more info about old roblox.

i came in to the event loby game and checked all the games and they're all just new games which already made me turn down this event
roblox really needs to make their own game for their own events like the eggs hunts they had back or the amazing spider man event (correct me if I'm wrong on this one cuz long time since that event)
egg hunt 2017 and 2018 were peak events
someone should use the classics map but replace the portals with actual old games and if possible they could add the tix and tokens to them
Think need give them more time learn on what to do and not to do by taking feedback so hopefully events be better bit by bit
This event not only in the game selection sucks it’s not even classic games and the quest sucks some are good like dusty trip, tower defence simulator, arsenal and some others quest were just like play the while doing quests eg driving empire guess what you have do (you drive) for hours I had to race like 50 times to complete it and it got boring fast lazy quest only good thing was the classic island, and who the hell chose brain rot toilet defence to be in event yea the game is popular that doesn’t mean it’s good and the WORST part was that this was just a cash grab for new packages I get roblox has to make money but still this is just greedy at least we got some free cool items but honestly this event could’ve been more and I’m not even og I feel bad for the og players who came back to play this horrible event

To be fair, most classic games are updated anymore, and no 2014 was not the classic this event was going for
I played roblox since 2016 i was 9 at that time and i really enjoyed the event the only thing i really ddint join about this event is the games but there are more better games than the bad one like tds,arsenal, the car game,etc and the lobby is really good since i just rocker launcher the people to get in the portal
No prize at the final also other game being grindy
Never even finished tds or bedwars but finished every other
I only finished 3 events, and 2 of them were tds and bedwars 😩(yeah and dusty trip)

Btw with explosive items you can oof youself and it gives credit also killing tix gives credit too but the event was low effort for that game ngl.
do note that Arsenal is from 2015 and it has been in Roblox for 9 years now

Bedwars was mad fun tho, I mean I’m biased because I’m a bed wars player myself, but it was not that hard. Trust me, the past 2 penguin events were much harder

Just cant trust roblox anymore, the hunt event was meh and this is just worse, well the events in the hunt were good like doors but they were gonna get updated anyway, roblox didnt even make most of the event, community made events are only worth playing.

This event was good. Give Roblox a chance to evolve events and stop whining.
It was not good. Aside from the items and the hub itself this event was just a worse version of their previous event. The hunt can be excused for this reasoning as it was a test but there is no reason why the classic should have fallen into the exact same issues such as terrible game choices.
Roblox events were good in the past and even if the hunt and the classic are the first event they made after so long they still have knowledge in making events like most of the Easter events
@@ElectroTechnologieseh I enjoyed it, its like a nice mini event. Takes only about 5 hours to complete (if you do only the 6 good games) and the rewards are totally worth it in my opinion. This event was a really good opportunity for Roblox to learn and I think from now on what they will take from this is they should have more involvement with the quests in the games to make sure they are good. They did try this event by really trying to get developers to try their hardest for the event, meanwhile in the hunt they didn't even try at all. But even then that obviously didn't work. I hope they will learn from this for future events.
@@ElectroTechnologies Agree to disagree, I had a decent amount of fun in several of the games surprisingly, and I'd argue that since the issues are far less severe compared to The Hunt, that indicates that Roblox is listening and taking notes, which gives me hope for improved future events.
Blame the games not roblox, roblox just chose the games and didn't make the events, they do have some blame but not all of it

Dusty trip is very scummy play it more you’ll start to realize there quality dropped the classic event was a reskin of desert you can all scream at me if you like it’s my opinion

dusty trip was buggy as hell
a dusty trip arsenal and bee swarm may have tried for their events but none were good bee swarm boring and way to easy. arsenal event lasted way to long i couldnt even beat the solo quest its to hard. and lastly a dustry trip you just fucking drive and pray to god the next stop has both food and gas if its missing food later on your fucked i didnt even make it near even close to the end of it.
this is just an example of the event only being for money they say they make the devs try the devs make cool areas for events but make really boring or unfair events i mean hell blade ball and dress to impress didnt even fucking try halve of dress to impress event was the lobby tix search... i didnt even get anything from the event i wanted all i wanted was the pie and the bucket but hell i couldnt beat any more games they all sucked i hated it and the pie was almost impossible to get.

new players tend to like things more then older players nowadays so you liking it might mean your a 2020 player, if not then that blows my mind that anyone likes adopt me as a "classic"
