Thank you for this video. I love to see these beautiful majestic animals. I notice they appear to be alone most of the time. I assume because they are older and wiser and know how to stay out of trouble and hide. I'm glad that they are not on chains.
Males are kicked out of the female herd when they are around 13yrs old. They are generally alone or in pairs. Kruger Park elephants are wild, no one chains them!
Make elephants are usually alone or with only a few other elephants 🐘❤️

Great vedio with excellent music. All these long tusk elephants looks weaker than normal elephant. Why these long tusk elephants roam lonely most of the time. Is the long tusk really helpful them to fight..

Veena, I'm assuming that these elephants are very old, that's probably why they look and walk the way they do. They know how to hide and stay out of trouble. I think this is why they stay to themselves.

Wow wow and wow! What a compilation of giant taskers of the Kruger National Park. With the Africana, these great beasts still roam though many were poached but if you leave them with the Chinese, they disappeared immediately! Thanks for keeping them! I enjoy seeing this compilation.

I was actually right where your vehicle was when you saw Xindzulundzulu at Shingwedzi Rest Camp in December 2017. I recall seeing an injured wild dog with its pack chasing after a troop of baboons. There were also Crocodiles sun bathing along the river banks. I actually took photos not videos which I will share with you with the date and time similar to your video

Do you know that when you recorded Xindzulundzulu at Shingwedzi in December 2017 our car was right next to yours but we did not know each other? I have the photo version of him especially when he chases the warthog mum and her young ones.

I see these tuskers quite often as I am from SA. Some of the bulls do have nice tusks, but none are like the old generation dead tuskers such as Phelwane, Dzombo, Kambaku, Shingwedzi, Nhlangulene, Ndlulamithi, Shawu and others. Some of these dead bulls had 3,0m tusks weighing up to 100kg each. To see them all check the You Tube video "Kruger Park South Africa - Tusks at Letaba elephant hall".....A must watch.!!
