- I recently visited the donguri republic store near sky tree! this location has a giant catbus and totoro that you can take pictures with! I'd definitely say it's one of the better locations, especially compared to the tokyo station one! was there anything in the store you wished I had gotten? let me know what your favorite item from my haul was!!! 🤍

I've been to that Ghibli store!!!! I have a photo with me and the giant Totoro. It was my favorite Ghibli store (other than the Ghibli Museum one - maybe better as just a store) I found in Tokyo and not far from my hotel. This video brought back so many great memories. Planning a trip to Japan next year, there are lots of donguri's around the country and only have time to probably visit one, would you says this one was the most worth visiting? Not sure if others are smaller or if they are all the same
My son will be visiting Japan next year for his 30th birthday and I must make sure to tell him to steer clear of this place! He is SUCH a Ghibli fan that he’ll need three extra suitcases to bring Everything home!!
