People seem to forget that AD grew up a guard all the way to his senior year of high school and got a growth spurt so tbh itâs understandable that he doesnât have the aggression of a basic nba big but he is still a very skilled player
Got so much potential he really can be the best player in the league if he puts his mind to it
Lol man, just NAH. It ain't 2017 no more, AD won't ever be the best in the league, he's 29 right now.
There are many players who's younger and more dominant than AD, and his career trajectory became so injury-riddled that I doubt if he will ever gonna play 50+ games a season ever again. And you know it ain't gonna get better with time cuz he's aging now.
The problem is its hard to put ur mind in always dominant mode when ur body was giving up and scared or trauma of being injured
Only thing I dislike about is AD is how he can seem disinterested throughout games which affects how dominant he is
I agree but I lowkey feel like heâs disinterested this season when he plays with Westbrook, like look at his facial expressions and body language when Russ turns it over or gives him a pass that isnât clean.

People have been vastly overexaggerating. One thing i want people to look at is the lack of spacing AD gets. AD is a skilled finesse big who thrives in spacing. When he is on the floor with guys that the defense dont respect from the perimeter... AD is not gona seem dominant. That is just the facts.
in the paint AD is still the AD we saw in the 2019-20 season, the main difference that can't be denied however is that he's dropped off on his outside shooting, he was 24 and 10 for 25 games straight after only missing one game which is still pretty solid considering he was 25 and 9 in his first season in LA, if he gets back his groove on the shooting aspect then he's gonna be that top 5 player everyone knew him by
Also anytime he touches the ball in the post Russ' defender comes over to double. They would rather give Russ a 3 than an AD a post up.

Your comment on point bro, ppl love to say Ad is the issue. No! Westbrook was a horrible get. The lakers need more long wing defenders who can shoot at a high cliff. Surround lb and ad with that and at least become a good team again. Is what the lakers need to do.

Idk what it is with ad maybe heâs just scared to keep getting hurt but he doesnât play with his full potential itâs sad literally watching him waste his talent year after year but hopefully this is the year he puts the team on his back and helps the King bring it back
