If you could turn off injuries you would be 100% correct. But a third star is needed because AD may or may not be healthy. Everybody gave Lebron a hard time for approving the Russ trade but that's the reason he ok'd it.
This was actually lebron's mission.. To feed AD that's why he became the lakers leading scorer and lebron averaged 10 asts in this season..

A formidable player as he is, one of the best bigs in the league with less recognition but, when healthy ow, he's a beast, unstoppable, accurate and consistent scorer and with a good range better than other bigs out there! Hampered by injuries his game turns a bit change and he couldn't find his rythm.! But in midrange, I classify him as great compare in other big man! He's got an elegant shooting stroke, and one of the best post up scorer, a floor spacer! Pick in 'popper and his defensive prowess is his major weapon! 🤗🤗👊👊 Slippery on roll, and leaking on fast break opportunity outrun other bigs!

Caruso was so good for us. Didn’t stat pad but made the right plays on both ends and played hard. Good basketball IQ.

The year LA won the Championship AD took the ball to the rack with authority alot more than he took jump shots. Now the last two seasons, when he was on the court he settled for way more jump shots than he took the ball to the rack. Yes he does need to make more of his jumpshots when he does shoot them but he needs to take the ball to the paint alot more and be that dominant force he was when they won the Championship.

He’s a NBA player and a good one at that he can settle for whatever he wants as long as the ball goes into that net. AD’s increased reliance on his jump shot is probably a byproduct of taking some contact over the years; he is a fragile player after all. I hope he gets healthy enough to truly contend for the rest of his career.

That Lakers' Roster could have lasted 2-3 more years after that season. They were deep, they did struggle in the latter part of the 2020 season but they were still a deep roster with a ridiculous great Chemistry. God knows what the F happened and they just broke it up.
