The street expansions feel natural. There are still bits of the map that seem unfinished. I hope they finish it on the near future.
I agree man, everything they added (opening up certain buildings and adding little expansions like this) Seem to work well with the map and it doesn't seem unnecessary just for the purpose of adding something! plus its a potential spawn for the new boss so its definitely going to serve a purpose!

Good eyes! Apparently there is 4-5 rare loot spawns in here so actually a pretty legit room!
