You can't put dinosaurs that have platformsaddles as option on a platform, like another dinos platformsaddle, or a boat. This goes for Paracer and Quetzals too.

Not 100% true...
You can scoop them, like in this video, then SWIFTLY put a wall behind them... they'll slide about, but stay on the raft until the wall is destroyed... unless they clip through.
@@matthewrowlett1564 thats what i was thinking... they had to see the brono sliding out, i would have thought Appsro would have told simon to put a wall up as soon as the brono was in and against the wall to keep it on the raft
@@darkslayr1 yeah... they probably just gave up. Who knows, maybe they did try it, and just didn't put it in the final Video... I've had Brontosaurus clip through the entire map before, so... and I hear ASA is TWICE as glitchy as ASE ever was sometimes...
I'm honestly surprised they didn't just make a fifty or so rafts, Add Foundations, And make a Darn Bridge across the ocean, if the Wall Trick failed. They don't really use many resources...
Sometimes, Ark is dumb. Most times, actually.
Neebs should be wearing Sarcos (Crocs skin for shoes during the Summer Bash) while riding the Sarco.
They changed the dino pathfinding which is why Dinos won’t get on the boat or go into traps anymore. You could always make a saddle for the Bronto to get it on the boat.
It's impressive how little they retain from this game
The only thing that could improve the Neebs Youtooz would be making the stand a raft with two frogs on it 🐸🧑🌾🐸

That's exactly what I thought, but then I figure, maybe they are saving that for a more special edition.
I always want to show up to a NGL wearing a raft outfit with two frogs in the nipple area and a box of summers eve in the crotch area. =P I'll never make it to one, so yeah, steal or adopt the idea.

The unofficial pecking order is: Appsro, Neebs, Dora, and then Simon. Whenever any two are together, this represents who is in charge, and some don't like it.
If yall ever wanna do deep sea diving...100 percent recommend taming a level 145+ whale. The ones that all the stingrays hang around. Then just pump health into its levels, nothing else. The number one alpha Squid and mosasaur killer in the game

Two things.
1. Back in ASE, they made it so large dinos like the Bronto couldn't get on boats anymore. You have to mod that back in. Not sure about ASA.
2. If a dino can walk in the water, it won't drown even if it's head goes under water. If it has to swim at the depth you drop it, it will drown.
It's not large dinos, it's dinos with platform saddles available.
I knew about the first one, but I sure didn't know about the second one. Thanks for that.
Is there such a mod for restoring this functionality? Bob's carts completely fucked 99% of dinos I'd want riding a raft.

If you download the roof foundations mod then you don't have to use pillars to build bridges and ramps and stuff. It's amazing

Hey, Simon! I’ve got a tip for ya. On PC hold r with your rifle/crossbow equipped to open up an ammo menu. You can change to tranqs without having to go into your inventory.
Demolish= stuff, Destroy= bye bye, and the cementing paste won't respawn if you leave things in the dam. You have to take everything out.

There’s another comment about why the Bronto wouldn’t go on the raft, but also for future reference, there’s the “go to location” whistle, and failing that, you can change the dino’s follow distance to lowest.
And about the Beaver dams: You _want_ to empty them so they break, they will *not* refresh their inventories if you leave them. They will eventually respawn.
Neebs' raft should have safety-chairs across the the rear-flanks & stern, so passengers can emergency-sit before falling overboard; the babies'-raft should have a bow-mounted feeding-trough to make them engage raft-tiles while onboard: mount storage to avoid theft, near-shore has birds, so put your good shit in an onboard chest, because off-shore has Leeds that pester boats to death with prejudice.
Leting Dora drown was a great opportunity for Neebs to get back at Dora for shooting him that one episode.
Seeing neebs gaming and Ark on my feed makes me so happy!

Appsro, if you think Sarcoes are cool, you'll love this. In my Aberration run in Ark: Survival Evolved, I found a Sarco with your coloration. Mostly blue with a yellow belly, snout, and limbs. I named it Appsro's Gator. I would send a picture, but I don't know how to on a CZcams comment.

You guys are on the Island now, get a Rhyniognatha (just look it up and save yourself some misery). And Alpha ascension is a must, I will walk you through it if I have too. You guys got me started playing ark after I gave up on the EA version, Its hard to watch you struggle now. You guys are great dufuses but there's some really cool stuff in Ark you've been missing for 10 years, and some new stuff you won't get in your normal gameplay loop you run.
you guys might be gearing for something already but I'd love nothing more than to pop in and grief you guys in creative ways, Dodo suicide bombers, pegomastax/dimorph booby traps, purlovia land mines, anti air kitties, there's a whole smorgasbord of gold content completely untapped.
TBF once it's fully grown, you can swim the bronto across on passive. It'll take hits from Megs and such and it'll be slow but the hp should be so high that it'll survive the crossing

People are always shocked ive never run into one(on a raft.)
I've killed one Using A Dunkleostus once, and with a Castroides army once.
But on the Raft? Not once. And those two kills are the only encounters I've had, and I've been playing since 2016.(though I haven't since 2021... my Xbox AND Alienware Laptop were tragically lost in an unfortunate Leaky Roof incident. Took out a chunk of the ceiling, and just DRENCHED My electronics. Can't afford replacements. It sucks.)

I don't think anyone in the Neebs gang has seen one yet, but I wonder if a Rhyniognathus could pick up the Bronto before it gets too big? Mind you, how long would it take for them to tame a Rhynio? My guess is they never will since it's more complicated than the simple K.O. or Passive type.

If you leave stuff in a beaver dam it wont refil with cementing paste. Also you have to kill the local beavers to make them respawn. I think it also helps with getting pelt, but could be wrong.
The issue with the brontos sliding off the raft is a setting for your server where are other players can mount platform saddles guys
They messed with the boats I noticed it also, it's like they'll float across without actually standing on the foundations. I had to take the middle foundations out and wedge the dino in there but I was just moving a stego and anky not a bronto so you might be out of luck
