A special thank you to Jared Trainor.
This is the way. Stainless steel 2-1.5mm. Brass plating. Helmet liner. The helmet is for cosplay, it's not meant for using in fencing. It can't be used in buhurts, but almost suited for SCA. There's only a couple of bars needed on the eye slit.

The camera cuts are so clean. The build itself is beautiful
This is the way.
I'm in love with the concept of Mandalorians being the equivalent of Medieval Knights, and Jedi being the equivalent of Samurai
Mandalorians could beat jedi with ease by creating beskar weaponry
@@pansebacheckmark Or beskar. And they certainly could.
@@darthbuzz1 but codex, won't allow it bcs beskar can destroy beskar
Mandalorians are space cowboys
@@mystics1ay3r17 more similar to knights by armor
Snapping the metal off like that is one of the most satisfying things I have ever seen on youtube, and I've spent over 60% of my life on here.
While i understand the cuts and how much work the editing took, My self I rather watch you work the metal and could watch it for hours non stop. As a retired craftsman I can say i find nothing more amazing as watching a real artist working in their trade.
💯
This
Yup
The edits are much better for viewing. You'd have to accept either fast-cuts or high-speed video because the shaping will get boring REAL fast.
The editing gimmick is why I don't subscribe. There are just too many of them. I enjoy a few, but too much of a good thing can be bad.
At first I thought you had special powers in your hands to turn foam into metal, snap off perfect pieces to fit, and punch to form and shape the metal. Then I realized it was the incredible power of editing 😂
The incredible power of soviet skill rather
@bam nguyen Lol, it took me a while to realise he didn't have superpowers as well.

Love the sense of humour in the video cuts. Bet you are a hoot to converse with. May the Machine God smile on you, always.
The edits in this video is really freaking cool. Love the armor as always
I don't watch Star Wars but this is an awesome display of skills. Excellent job brother, bless
Why not give “the Mandalorian show” a try? I’m sure you will love it considering it borrows a lot of these concepts, including a dragon 🐉 in season 3
Why? Why do you not watch Star Wars? But why? I don’t understand
I love the editing here, shows you key techniques without making you watch hours of hammering, with style and a bit of humor.
Putting that thing on must’ve felt ridiculously satisfying
"Why was armor so expensive Dad". Watch this video, now imagine all the time it took without the quick editing and without modern tools. Now I need to find a old school metal smelting video to make the metal.
In the words of the Mandalorian ". This is the way ". Great job !👍👍

Finally this comment. Thanks and this is the way.
Beautiful. I like how you made it in a way that it could have been a real historical design
I remember using an old cannon ball to plenish the surface. You go that perfect sound to tell you it was hitting right.
I miss getting to work with my hands like that shaping metal into gauntlets, and helmets etc.
The finishing work to make it this original piece was so satisfying, when the customer came to get it.
I wish I could command metal like you do. Your skill and expertise are unmatched.
This is lovely to watch.
This is true craftsmanship - looks great! Could imagine that collectors would pay for such a piece not little.
Mad respect to the creator :)
This guy makes metal working look like something that you can easily do even with your hands lol
Im totally impressed. Thats hard to do. More mandalorian armour please.
You know you're badass when you're forging beskar with your fists 🤣🤣
Cleaner jump cuts than TikTok magicians. Well done. I love your videos.
Glad to see you back at it, the helmet looks awsome....
Now all you need is some replicas of beskar steel ingots to go with it in a display case😄
You know what would be ever more bad ass… The Rocketeer helmet
Back about 2016 or so I build some mandalorian style armor.
I decided to after wat hing the guys at the tire shop using a 1.5 inch pneumatic impact gun, and thought "that could make a cool handheld toy minigun"
Got two of the small empty helium tanks from a grocery store that sold balloons. Made the helmet with them.
A construction crew removed a collapsed culvert near the parking lot where I worked. They let me take some of that aluminized steel home.
Angle grinder, hammer, Harbour freight mig welder, bondo and paint.
Some made some little pucks over the years for vibration isolation whenever there was extra silicon left in the tube from bathroom/window repairs. Those Got used for padding in the helmet.
Riveted the pauldrons, chest and abdominal plate to a denim shirt. With a magnet glued to the half of the shirt the belly plate wasn't riveted to.
Bought a Harbour freight air chisel, took it apart modified with some 1.5 inch pvc and a carbon fiber arrow shaft. This made a muzzle loading 1.5 inch glowstick "blaster".
Air hose for blaster snaked up shirt sleeve. Was intended to go to rocket pack, ran short on time so to a 4 inch pvc airtank I wore like a fanny pack on my back, only put up to about 25 psi and regulated output to 10 to prevent injuries.
Had a bicycle pump in the car for reloads.
Missus made a twillek costume.
In all I think we won a bit more money than we spent making our costumes that Halloween.
You’re insanely talented in your craft and your video editing! You deserve way more subscribers and views! Thanks for sharing!

Hi as someone who’s a massive 40K fan just asking but how effective would space marine armor be in real life if we were to say shrink it so it could fit an ordinary person as well a lightening it to be easier to wear?
This guy never misses with the edits bro. IM TELLING YA'LL!!!
Some days YT will throw me some gems, today was one of those days. Great video!
One of the only issues I had with the show is when the armorer forges armor for Bo , Grogu , and Din djarin and shes always able to get everything done and pretty in 30 minutes or less. In a science fiction world with magic laser weapons the forging process is the most unrealistic thing I've ever seen 😂
Mans deffo got a job in the apocalypse
The Armorer: "hold my beskar" 😂
Awesome content
Love all the hard work
Your editing is art (not easy)
Not only having a great humor, you have a decent skill indeed!
That technique gives a whole new meaning to the word Sharpie.
Really cool video on making a Mando helmet. Loved the quick edits and how smooth everything flowed. Very well done sir.
A smith and a lute player. You sir are awesome.
Your video skills really show off your ‘metalworking talents’.
Just found your channel. And I enjoy seeing your metal work especially your "editing skills" and use of unique tools. 😂❤
18:30... I see what you did there...
That explains your extraterrestrial powers. Love the details!
I love that he just starts beating the living sheet out of it like that woman does in the show.
This is kind of how I imagine Mandalorians actually forge their armour.
As someone that actually likes the metal working part of this and I’m not one to try to tell someone how to do there thing just respectfully request that you show more of the metal working in some of your videos thank you and I enjoy the work you do
FYI, to those who are not familiar with that decoration that was made for the helmet, It is Ukrainian.

Must be nice to have all that equipment at your disposal.
This is beyond impressive! Love the Ukrainian Trident touch too!

I thought I was signing on for a decent metal working video, imagine my excitement when it quickly became a flawless editing demo 👍🏻 keep up the incredible work!
Im now more convinced than ever that punching things is how you solve problems. The way you just man handled the helmet with your fist...

"this is the way" mandalorian language
so cool how it looks like a medieval knight helmet up until the point that you add the “cheekbones” - now it’s mandalorian
Its kind of crazy to think our tools are the descendants of the tools they used back then
Man turned his Hammer into an M2 Browning
A true masterpiece - and I love the 'Magic Fingers' video cuts - so smooth.
Damn, he can rearrange the atoms within the metal with his bare hands.
alright we need to figure out who took this mans sandwich so he calms the hell down.
Hows this dude only have 20k subs? This video is amazing. Well done.
Thanks!
This Old Tony called, he want's his Gags back
Love this video
Great build and very fun editing. Awesome work, man. The long hours paid off.
I did a 14ga Mandalorian helmet for my buddy in SCA. It was a pain in the butt! This work is beautiful, though.
The Forge is strong in this one. He has more mind tricks than Master Jedi George Lucas.
One day I will buy armour from you
Absolutely gorgeous 😍. Great finish, excellent craftsmanship. Editing and creative work 👌 amazing video.
This showed up on recommended and wow.
Your metal work is incredible, and you make the awesome music, and you have great editing?
Don’t stop, you’ll be at 1M in no time.
The craftsmanship is beyond commenting, the result is awesome!
I think you overdid it at some points with the camera cuts!
He slaps the metal into compliance.
This is the way.
THIS IS THE WAY……when it comes to making Mando’s helmet.
I’d love to see a cylon helmet from battlestar galactica. Great metal work.
Amazing ! Your editing and craftmanship are outstanding!
Gorgeous craftsmanship and art.
I would call upon you when the time comes to have a real Mandalorian helmet built for me.
This man made a helmet, sewed the cushions, played guitar and some kind of drum, edited the video and called it a day all while I sit on my couch and enjoyed it all.
If you show this to your kids they will think he is a wizard of steel🤣
bro is crafting stuff like he's in minecraft lmaooo
Love the details you put into your work & the fun you have with your editing. Fab video, amazing skill set.
Cool maybe some clear plastic to cover those slits on the inside to protect against chemical attacks.
the technical skill displayed here is very impressive
Ah yes. Blacksmithing. The ancient art of hitting things really hard till they look close enough to what you want them to be
😮 You are the real "Man of Steel!"💪👍
You don’t want steel, you want Titanium.
The first time I watched his videos I was like oh this guy is strong then I realized half way through that the power of editing is rad, but he's still strong
This must take forever, then to film it even longer!
