You don't need a long, tapered leader on a sinking or sink-tip line, or when using sinking poly leaders. Learn the easy way to add the right leader to your sinking line
Thanks for sharing exactly what I need to do for my new Rio 24ft. Sink Tip 200-gr line. I will mostly fish Missouri trout parks and rivers, along with smaller Kansas State lakes. Still am undecided as to the weight of the first tippet material, but I imagine I won't hook up with any large mouth Bass, greater than twelve pounds. Again, many, many thanks for such a clear explanation on how to tie these.
Tom, thanks for all what you and Orvis does for the fishing community. You will never know how much you have helped me over the years. Thanks again 👍

ty great job
I was looking for this last weekend.
Sorry we didn't get it up in time!
I’m assuming you tied a perfection loop to both the leader and 1 ft of fluorocarbon. Amiright?
Awesome series of “how to” videos. Thanks for putting them out there! I get the sizing for the tippet rings but any suggestions for the micro swivels?
25 for trout fishing. 40 for bigger flies for bass or salt water
@@orvis thank you sir!
Please don't leave your fluorocarbon/mono waste to nature.
