Thanks so much for the simple instructions-it is hard to find ratios/instructions for beginners that are to the point for small amounts of cold brew 😊 any recommendations on the beans that would taste like Starbucks cold brew (I see they don’t sell the specific beans for it). Thanks!
For Cold Brew, you want to use a coarse grind like you would use for a french press brew. For pour over iced coffee, a medium grind is best. The number may vary by grinder.
Hello, I would like to ask how to dilute a cold brew concentrate. Like example I make cold brew coffee concentrate of 100g coffee and i added a 500ml of water. This will be my cold brew coffee concentrate. Then if i want to dilute it i just add another 500ml of water? Is it right? I hope you will notice my question.😊😊😊 Thank u😊😊😊
Iced Coffee is brewed on the spot with hot water and typically has a more acidic, bright flavor. Cold Brew is steeped in cold water over a longer period of time and typically has a smooth, subtly sweet flavor. Try them both and let us know which you prefer!
@@starbucks thank you :) I made some cold brew!!! Actually 2 batches and it was delicious :) I’m going to Starbucks tomorrow for my first PSL of the season woohoooo

Yes what she said and if its to strong just dilute it by adding more waters so its the strength that you want and if you dilute it then it won't be so strong just saying because everyone is different.
The video also says add water to dilute at a 1 to 1 ratio -- so, just to "brew" the coffee, its 4 tablespoons for every 6 oz of water. Then you add a 1 to 1 amount of water to whatever you brewed. So it'll be 4 tablespoons of coffee to make 12oz of cold brew coffee. I made fun of my sister for buying Stok cold brew as it was so watered down compared to regular coffee.
I guess I make cold brew.
But I never dilute it, so…
That’s why it’s so strong.
Depends on your ratio of coffee and water. You can even do 1:1 to make concentrate
@@squidport_ I thought 6:1 was concentrate? ..from what I've seen in other tutorials anyway!
@@johnc3403 coffee is 6 and water is 1?

I don't either, and the coffee is perfect.

We're so glad you found it helpful! Give Siren's Blend a try for your next Cold Brew batch.

What type of grind do we need to use on cold brew and also on ice coffee

Do you place the cold brew in the fridge while if steeps?
It’s better if you don’t apparently, bette replaced in a dark area, away from light

Hello,
I would like to ask how to dilute a cold brew concentrate. Like example
I make cold brew coffee concentrate of 100g coffee and i added a 500ml of water. This will be my cold brew coffee concentrate.
Then if i want to dilute it i just add another 500ml of water?
Is it right?
I hope you will notice my question.😊😊😊
Thank u😊😊😊
I just take my cup, fill with ice and do about half concentrate and half water.
Yes! When you brew double strength cold brew, it's best to use 50/50 cold brew concentrate and water or milk of your choice.
Hello!😊 How much water will i dilute after?
It was right there on the screen. Ratio is 1:1
for the cold brew, is it cold water?
Cold or room temperature water is fine.
For the iced coffee, did she brew it in the pour over then transfer to the chemex thing? Where did the transfer happen?
No, brew in either the chemex or the v60. There should already be ice in either.
What’s the difference?
Iced Coffee is brewed on the spot with hot water and typically has a more acidic, bright flavor. Cold Brew is steeped in cold water over a longer period of time and typically has a smooth, subtly sweet flavor. Try them both and let us know which you prefer!
What’s the best coffee brand to use for cold crew?
Try buying beans from your local coffee roasters.
Hi! I don't get coarse grind coffee in stores. I made cold brew from instant coffee. It sucks. What do I do? 😢
Get beans from your local roasters. And buy a hand grinder! They can be relatively cheap.

No
I never knew there was a difference between iced coffee and cold brew. I thought they were the same.
Both delicious in their own ways!
Nice video which pack of Starbucks coffee is similar to what is served for iced coffee
Won’t the “as usual” pour over melt the ice and make the coffee taste less?
If you use the ratio suggested in the video, your coffee won't be diluted by the melting ice!

Cold brew is literally just a better iced coffee regardless of how you like your cold coffee
Depends. Some beans just aren't suitable for cold brew.
If you can give a ratio of coffee, water and ice would be perfecr

What about milk 💀
You can add the milk of your choice at the end! You may prefer to reduce the water dilution if you plan on adding milk, too.
