For 60 that room is NOTHING to complain about. At all.
I agree with you
It’s the equivalent to a cheap off the freeway motor-lodge.
As someone who worked security on the strip, it’s not worth it.
You’ll legit get robbed by a hooker or her pimp there. Especially in the motel style rooms in the back
Same thing I was saying. I worked in hotels as a maintencance engineer for about 8 years altogether & for $60 that's about right for what he got. 🤷🏾♂️
Yeah but $80 for a steak is highway robbery.
In almost every shot of your video there were people everywhere. The place is more popular than you think.
So are ghettos
Popular with kids. Which have no money.
The place prints money it’s one of few family friendly places on the strip
I went there with my parents back in 1974. It was basically the only casino where kids could play. Fast forward today, $70 total is good with the wear and tear. Renovations will push the rate above $150.
It's the same bed and pillows from 1974.
@@MetalVentor 🤣 Let's close Tropicana and keep Circus Circus open. Man, that's some good stuff you're smoking there, Vegas😁 Although, that steakhouse looks badass.
Good lord that’s when the dinosaurs roamed earth
@DeputyMartin 🤣 I doubt that, although I'm sure there are parts of Circus Circus that have not changed since parts of "Diamonds are Forever" were shot there. That Bond flick is from 1971.
Never been to primm valley aka primadonna???
I only like it cuz' I won 23k there last year🎪🎰
Unironically you’re causing that place to close down, 23,000 get the bag brother but holy hell
Won 23k in 2023!! Wowoww
How much of that went to tax
@@ReeceGardner69 No way. Have you seen how people gamble? I've seen lots of people blow 10 grand on fucking slot machines in like 20 minutes betting 50 bucks a spin. It's truly disgusting how much money these places really take from people

I first went to Vegas in the late 80s with some aunts and uncles during Spring break. We stayed at the Sahara because at the time it was the cheaper option. We would walk over to Circus Circus and spend the day there. The adults would leave me and my cousins in the arcade area and they would head over to the slots or tables. When it was lunch or dinner time they'd come and gather us and take us to the buffet. I think that was my only time in Circus Circus, but they were some good times.
If Circus Circus didnt exist, all those noisy kids would be pouring into the other casinos. Be glad its there.
I used to destroy everyone at Street Fighter in the arcade back in the 90's. Also had a guy sell me weed in the restroom at Slots A Fun a decade ago.
Was the weed any good? 😂
@@smasher3930and does it still have a street fighter 😂
I remember going with my cousin when we were in our teens. We would walk to different casinos and play arcades. Sf3 had just came out and we wrecked all the other kids. Arcades had a different feel back then.
@melascension494third strike always gets the crowd
If you are a kid at heart u will love this hotel. I turned 40 & stayed here.I love how they had a circus act perform each day, small water park, it's next door to McDonald's & Deny's. It has an arcade.I will go back & groupon has deals for this place time to time.
I deliver there for Dominos all the time. Cool place to stop by, it is. Heads up for anyone wondering, we are not allowed to deliver to the rooms, you have to meet up in the front lobby or outside on the curb
Just stay 3 nights with my family and it's not bad. I recommend it. 👍🏻
Circus Circus was there for those who couldn’t have those other fancy more expensive spots. Never disrespect the Circus Circus with out being in the struggle💪🏼
My complaint was when the elevator was under a remodel, there was a long wait because 1-2 elevators went to our rooms. Had to wait 5-10 minutes during peak times.
Man, last time I went there, my brothers car got stolen from their parking lot. And after months, the police found it stripped to the point only the frame of the car was left. They also charged him a fee for having it in their lot smh. Never staying there again haha
I worked there when I was 17 years old in 1973. At the speedway bumper cars and Zambora and I went to the steakhouse once and I’m going back May 5th on my 30th wedding anniversary..
congratulations on 30 years! shit aint always easy. ill be married 3 years in january and it is a battle sometimes🤣
Was zambora the ‘Girl to Gorilla’?
@@imgrindin congrats on 30th!!! as for me, in my 60s, never found the right one......so I am safe (for now...)
To me if the hotel is cheap I’m gonna stay there so long is not in the ghetto side. The only reason I stay in a hotel in Vegas is to sleep shower shit nothing else I have yet to turn on a TV in a hotel in Vegas, my priority is to be walking, drinking, gambling, and all other ill stuff
Completely agree However I tend to avoid circus circus I’ve stayed there twice and both times the rooms had not been cleaned and too many kids running around the casino floor
My first time in Vegas was 15 years ago and on our way to our hotel the driver said the same thing hotels rooms in Vegas are only for the 3 S’s which you stated above. Me and my girl at the time had a ball at circus circus. Since then I have stayed at some more luxurious hotels on the strip but I will never let anyone talk down circus circus.
per folks in the know.....the hotel to avoid because of the homeless issue and district area, is the Strat.....
Agreed.

Finally the young CZcamsrs are going to the vintage Vegas places👍😊. Burgess Meredith, the guy who played Penguin on Batman & He played Mickey on Rocky. Well, he was a huge Circus fan & would park his custom bus in the RV park back in the day. 👍
Soooo cool!!!!
Great comment...
Circus Circus is still a cool place to visit but I wouldn’t sleep there.
It ain't that bad. I'm used to walking the entire strip so I get a cheap room and then go to a more desirable place
Same. The last time I was in Vegas, we stopped by for the Adventure Dome theme park but didn't stay long.
@@socc4298 I love the AD because thats probably the ONLY place where there are thrilling rides and coasters IN THE Hotel!!! how cool is that!
@@Waynes-xt9grbasass
Ah the bucket of coins was a great bit of nostalgia.
The hotel room was nicer than I expected.
I want to go play there now. 2 bucks a beer and coin slots . That’s how it was when I was still underage and got kicked out!
I really appreciate this open and honest review. I’ve always wondered about Circus Circus and this made me realize that I don’t want to stay there… in their defense though, I will say that at $66 it cheaper than most Motel 6 or Super 8 motels… and the room that you showed is about the condition that I would expect from one of those places that I mentioned. Thanks for the great review.
Fuck you. You are not rich
Even as a kid I loved the adventure dome, going as an adult is just nostalgic for me, I still love it.
I stayed here for one night last month with my wife and toddler because we were driving from California to Colorado for our move and this place was the cheapest we can get. I haven't been here since the 90's when I was a kid and it was a BLAST OF NOSTALGIA. When my wife and kid fell asleep for the night, I went and explored the hotel and casino to see what changed and I went to the arcades to relive my childhood. I hope this place stays in business for a long time because I'm sure it's a fun experience for people like me who enjoyed it as a kid and now have a kid of my own.
Circus circus was the only place for us kids to really go where we felt welcomed! It sucked being under 21 at other casinos. So it’s one of the best casinos for that fact. It’s gonna suck when it’s gone.
In 2021 me and my husband had never been to vegas and didnt do research and decided to stay here cuz it was cheap. Our room wasn’t the worst honestly- our bathroom was way nicer and updated, and knowing now how everyone feels about it could have fooled us because it was so busy mostly with kids and families. I will say I love the lights in the entrance, wish more of the hotel had more of that aesthetic. Kind of far from fun stuff on the strip imo, and ill say, the krispy kreme there was our favorite at 3am 😂😋
Just discovered your channel; love it! This video brought back so many memories… I’m hardly ever back in Vegas now but I just saw some of my best childhood memories flash through my mind.
"I would not recommend leaving your kids here unattended" (Adventure Dome) me laughing recalling being there as a kid in the mid 90s and was left there alone, pretty much all the kids were alone for hours.
This place was my favorite as a kid. The Grand Slam Canyon was amazing! It’s just behind the times now.
Slots of fun was awesome back in the 90s. They used to have a craps table basically on the sidewalk
Got in the pool one time.. I was sick for 3 months..
I grew up in Vegas and circus circus was the best. Especially when the theme park was called grand slam canyon and had dinosaurs everywhere. The midway and the arcade were awesome. Excalibur used to have a great arcade in the 90's too.
Been going there for close to 15 years and my family and I have always enjoyed it. We actually stay there each time we come to Vegas. Been bringing my kids there since they were very little and now that they are teenagers and older they still love it there. The kid in me still likes going there also. You mentioned about location with it being on the north end of the strip which you say is kinda out of the way. To me that’s ok because if I want to go to the south end of the strip, it’s not like I have to drive 20 miles or more to get there. Sure you probably would have to endure some traffic but that entire city has traffic. The quality of the room doesn’t bother us since we are used to staying at cheaper motels with not great quality.
For me, the whole Las Vegas trips are out. They, the hotels, try to gouge you. There is no longer any inexpensive buffets, nor cheap entertainment. They have taken out any reason I would visit. So "So long Las Vegas" you where fun while it lasted. But good things don't last forever. I will spend my dollars elsewhere.
“Putting in a coin one at a time is pretty tiring than just putting in a $50 and pressing the button” 😂
Classic
I am not remotely old and was reaching for my old man cane to swing around after that line.
I visited Circus Circus 🎪 Casino 🎰 in July of 2021 and had a great time 💙💙💙💙💙💙💯
I’m totally checking out Slots a Fun on my next trip. I was there last year and they were emptying it out for the renovation. Looks cool!
I always say I'm glad that I've stayed there... but I'm mostly happy about the fact it was the first place I stayed the first time I went to Vegas so I had nothing to compare it to. I always seem to find myself walking through the doors every couple years, whether showing the place to friends that have never been to Vegas, or to go to the Steakhouse. I don't think I'd ever stay there again though. Great video!
Your room is nicer then mine. I was there today.
As a kid in a church retreat 😂😂 this place was heaven. You got to see a real circus when the affairs starting getting revealed after endless drinking.
We love Circus Circus. Fantastic fun.
I remember going there in the mid 1980, when we moved out of California. Got lost on casino floor, but this does bring back nostalgia!
I agree with you Jorge, for having to spend extra time and money on transportation you’re better off staying at a more central location.😊
When I stayed there, there was a roller coaster in there which doesn't appear to be there anymore.
Congrats on your engagement. Noticed ring at dinner 🎉
2 years ago remember being in there and winning a couple hundred on a slot. Then felt like being followed by shady characters the rest of the time. Did not feel safe at this casino.
Nice job Jorgito. Luv the vibe and info.
What vibe? It's generally negative as it is a negative review
@@BeyondDaX The vibe of the video. Jorge did a great job. Jorge made a cool video about a crappy property. That's not easy.
JUST GO BACK TO 1971 DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER MOVIE at Circus Circus with Jill St . John
The place doesn't change. 25 years ago, it looked like that. It's not really in a horrible location. The last time I stayed there was when I went to CES. I walked to the convention center and back from there. Hopefully they can get their act together and refurbish the rooms. If you just need a place to sleep, it should suit you.
Circus Circus is probably the only place I want to stay in Vegas. You dont need all the glitz and glamour of Vegas when you wanna sleep. People only spend a little bit of time in their rooms. A room in the Annex cost me twenty dollars a night. You had to take a sky train to the casino, but you wanna see the strip and spend an hour here or there in each casino. I love the Circus Circus. There is a reason why they never closed it and tore it down like the others. It is still prevalent in the part of Vegas. It is the way Vegas used to be. Amazing prices. Tom Crosby YQR Regina Canada.
unless you are like me and like to rest in the hotel for a couple of hours to recharge. im not a person that enjoys being around crowds or just being outside for a long time
@@ernestogastelum9123 Thank you for your insights. Yes, I am. They must return to old Vegas, where you can get a beer and hot dog for five bucks across the street at the Riviera. Or, like, the Circus Circus buffet for ten dollars. They lost that loving feeling. I loved the shows and the lights of the strip; I gambled for an hour in each casino along the strip. I would start on one side of the strip in the morning and work my way down. Then, I cross the street and work my way back, spending one hour in each case.I am not much of a gambler. Tom Crosby YQR Regina Canada
@@305crosby i only played in the Casinos for like an hour or 2 on the 3 days i stayed over there. i enjoyed more the shows, food and specially the giant ferris wheel that we payed to have a bar in one of the spheres

Agreed! When we used to go to Vegas regularly we always stayed here. Our first trip we got a fancy hotel and then realised that we were only in it to sleep. After that, we always stayed at Circus Circus because it was cheap and we just got a pass for The Deuce to easily travel up the strip.
Hey George how are you doing. Nice to see you. Take care. Thanks for the Video. Hope to run into you in June. Helena
The prices at that steak house were wild😮
I would say kind of average for Vegas
@@Vegas-Must-Try$80 for a steak is ridiculous and certainly not the "average" cost. It better come with some sucky sucky for that price.
Wow $80 bucks for that steak!?! I would have just went to the Bacchanal Buffet for that kinda money lol

Take the Deuce. I wouldn't stay at Circus Circus. But I' would always go to Slots of Fun. Thank you for the video. Keep 'em coming.
I spent a TON of holiday trips in Vegas from 2000’s and I still go to this day and I remember the countless rides on the roller coaster at adventure dome. I last went in 2012 for graduation and it was still a fun time. I still remember games of the gods in Luxor, the arcade they had back in the 2000’s.
I MISS THAT PLACE SOOOO MUCH we've been trying so hard to move there but it's not been the greatest here lately in TN
I remember going to Circus Circus when I turned 18, only casino I could walk around by myself. My brother and I won so many plushies from the claw machines, an employee gave us a trash bag to carry them all. They were all Simpsons plushies and after I had the whole collection, I began giving my duplicates to parents who couldn't win one for their kids, it was fun seeing the kids get so excited and some parents were grateful, they gave me $5 as a thank you.
I go to circus circus everytime in las vegas.buffet, adventure dome as well as slot play.havent stayed in hotel yet but on our list one of these days.ok each visit on our vacation
My family and I have been staying at CC for years I hope they have a major update bc we love this place. It also doesn’t help how it’s surrounded by brand new state of the art casinos circus circus gotta step up there game
Last time i was there, around 7 or 8 years ago, my ex wife reserved a room i the back lot. When we checked in they let us upgrade for about $20 to go to the "tower" and it actually wasnt that bad.
ayoooo~ I quit drinking for a month for dietary reasons and who should appear buy my sponsor! I'm breaking my fast tonight, but happy to see you visiting an old Vegas favorite. Used to get the armband at the Adventure Dome and go crazy on the laser tag. Was LIT!

The mold in the washroom is a no go
Circus Circus might be an old hotel casino, but the Air conditioning unit in their hotel rooms are 100x better than those at MGM Grand
When we went to Circus Circus a couple years ago there was a used adult diaper in the safe, blood stains on the beds and walls, then the toilet was clogged. Plus the room smelled like shit.
Nice review man 👍 Ive been to Circus Circus once before back in 2004 it was nice then .Ive been wanting to go back with my fam and stay 2 nights but dam those rooms lol 😆 i feel i can hit a nice jackpot there for some reason ohh yeah 🎰 that restaurant was really nice took me way back before my time i def need to eat there 😎
So adults with no kids are hating because it is family friendly and affordable...got it!

The very first time I went to Las Vegas with family I was a kid and we stayed at Circus Circus. Not gonna lie, I knew then at that age this hotel was outdated and kind of lame 😅😅 I think it’s fine for families but definitely not for a bachelorette party or a conference. I’ve stayed at Cosmo and the Venetian, so yeah I agree with you. Circus Circus is one of the worst Vegas hotels.
Stayed there back in 2003 the first time I ever went to Vegas when I was 21. Don't remember being disgusted, but also never been back. I mostly remember it being so far from everything else. I usually start at MGM Grand or Park MGM now when I visit.
Thank you!!! I was wondering where I could find slots where I could pull the lever!!!
A lot of slots like that with modern machines too
Really?? You mean to tell me nobody else likes DUSTY AF Bedsheets and carpets but me?? Weeeirdos! 😂😂
It really is that bad. I stayed there in 2016 and it was a complete shit hole. I remembered staying there in the 90s and it wasnt that bad. I was a kid, but it seemed decent. But with all the updates the big hotels have done and the addition of all the other nice ones, it really is garbage. Then its barely on the strip anymore. The "strip" kind of really starts and treasure island and its like a mile from there.
I love the old steakhouse vibe! I've heard nothing but negative abour Circus Circus but that steakhouse sure looks good!
Fond memories of the arcade. However what killer it for me was the smell of the room. It had a musky smell despite changing rooms. That smell still haunts me even ten years later
circus circus is great, i never stayed at it but went for the arcade, and cheap slots, older vibe of the place. idk if the mcdonalds is still there but i was surprised at how good it was
We're going to stay there next month for a week. Hopefully, we'll get a nice room!
I wouldn't.
Dude Fright Dome's last year was 2017. It's been closed 7 years.
LMAOOO
OUCH!
It's the classic pyramid scenario. The cheaper, easier or financial something is, the more people are going to take advantage of it.
I was just there Oct 2023. It smelled like mildew and there were no wash cloths anywhere in the hotel. When I came home, my stuff smelled mildewy
How many times did you smell the clothes when you got home
Once was enough
That steakhouse is my favorite hands down. We stay at cosmo but it’s worth imo to eat and visit circus circus just for that delicious steak. Also I like vintage slots so I will be checking out slots of fun soon
How is the RV park there? I was in the back lot bungalows for $200.00 / night!!!??!!! It looked like a crime scene! Blood and stool in toilet, throwup on bed, mold in fridge with food, phone, tv were broken and radio went off blasting before I left! I went elsewhere! Had to walk far, back to line and waited an hour in line to get outta there!😂
With all that, $200/night is a crime 😬
Yeah memories as a kid....arcade, Midway games and circus acts 😎
Random question, but I gotta know, what brand/model are your glasses? I love them! 🤓 👓 😎
The Steakhouse is AMAZING. I go every time I am in Vegas. Just so old school cool, and great service. My wife loves the shrimp cocktail. They also don’t nickel and dime you with everything being extra. It is worth going through the living hell that is the casino to get to the Steakhouse. We took a group of friends there in December and it is the most talked about memory of the trip. We have our reservations made for a visit soon.
Even after all these years ..I love that place .. people like Miss Carrie and Kathy take care of people......I do not like highrise...manor rooms you can park your car outside your window.... especially if you have a lowrider.....I do miss blue iguana and or the ribss all u can eat .....
My pops would always book this place when we were kids. Havent staued there since the mid 90's. As an adult, my wife and i would always play at Slot O Fun...but havent been to either in at least 10 years
I bet it has a lot of memories for you
@Vegas-Must-Try it does, the steakhouse is my second favorite in Vegas behind the Golden Steer. Might go back soon.
You're not missing anything. It's not safe there anymore.
☆☆☆☆☆THE Horrendous Smokey Cigar SMELL walking inside the Front Entrance was a Mega DEAL Breaker for Me. Also I Signed up for the Players Card there and Literally Got NOTHING for doing so. I made a Complete 360 and walked Out The Doors for Good. No More Clowning around there 🎪🎪🎪🎪
I may be in my 60s....but my fav areas are at the Arcade/Carnival and Adventuredome!!!! It helps....coming from my city where covid is still holding back our local entertainment company, EK Fernandes......which only runs the 50th State Fair. As a visitor once to the EC where the "area" around that hotel is spooky and I dont wanna get robbed. I found out the hard way when I took a picture in the hallway of a photograph and security was there with blasting radios in seconds.....I felt odd and was warned and forced to delete the pic I took.

I agree and I don’t ever see myself eating there, but I have been to the Steakhouse at Circus Circus and both times have been great. It is by far the best thing in that hotel. 😀
I've always enjoyed Circus Circus. It's an affordable option in Las Vegas.
i remember just chilling at that carnival show for hours cause we ran out of money… there was no phone at the time so we just had to wait for the parents to come pick us up..
We ate at the steakhouse many years ago…glad to see it’s still good. It’s the only bright spot at Circus Circus 🎪.
a lot of paranormal groups love this place..
Hello, is there a video on how far parking garage is from casino or adventredome entrance? is parking free? im debating on renting a car or using uber.
What the heck was this guy expecting? This hotel is still over of the most affordable, family friendly hotels in Las Vegas. I would never stay there without kids, but if I have my young kids with me, there's ton of things that would keep my kids genuinely entertained during our trip.
