- Music has a weird ability to take you through time- to make you nostalgic for moments you haven’t lived yet, or for the ones you already have.
An album that will always have this effect for me is Blonde by Frank Ocean. My friend/roommate Hunter introduced me to his music our freshman year of college and ever since then I’ve had, like many of his fans, a special relationship with his discography. That’s why when Blonde vinyls went back on sale last year i HAD to cop one.
it’s one of my favorite albums and definitely one of my top vinyls, which goes well with this record table i built last month. If anyone spots a Channel Orange vinyl… let ya boy know 🤓🧡📺

What album does that for me? This. Exact. One. So many albums teleport me to reminisce about what has changed in my life and was yet to change, but Blonde. is definitely the one that feels like a great cascade of growth and heartbreak
…and GO:OD AM by the late Mac Miller
GO:OD AM is another one of those for me- throws me back to such a specific point in my life when i had that on repeat. Great album!
personally, for me, i'm very drawn to hoziers first album, it's so soulful and vintage sounding, I really need to buy that vinyl
i haven't listened to it! sounds like a really meaningful album
