- Come with us as we leave Mexican Hat and head to a new spot for us. We landed at Muley Point East Dispersed Camping and spent several nights soaking up all the beauty of Monument Valley. Sunsets were spectacular and breath-taking. Our spot was feet away from the edge and provided a perfect backdrop for a nice evening with a cup of coffee. This spot will be in our Top 10 for sure.
We found the spot using iOverlander app and had also received recommendations from travel friends.

Guys if its raining or has been raining DO NOT go to muley point. We were supposed to be this hapy people. But the sign is up there not before ge got to the top. Ended up with a nighmare story😵💫 still hope to go back in a summer day.
Sure hope you took a short ride through valley of the Gods. It is remarkable!
We did but dust storms had kicked up for days and reduced visibility. More trips will happen through this area for sure.
