Frank Garrett if you watched the game it wasn’t as close as it seems. They got it to two possessions and they would lower it to 1 then we would up it to 2 next possession. Only thing is they scored so late we decided to run out the clock instead of score again

LSU wasn’t conservative in the 3rd lol. Burrow just started getting eaten up by sacks. Dude did take 5 sacks in the game and after they started to put, Tua and those boys heated up. LSU played that entire game aggressively. Atleast give some props to Bama’s pass rush because they kept them in that game when the secondary was torched
They didn’t get conservative. Alabama just played lights out in the 3rd. We’d probably have a different outcome if they continued to in the 4th but Bamas defense is trash.
Hayden Honestly Bama’s D isn’t even trash tbh. There are only about 5 teams that can do what LSU did on Bama’s D. They’re slightly above average because of all the youth and injuries, but that’s WAYYY below Bama’s standard. Let’s not act like LSU doesn’t have a top 5 WR core in the nation with Burrow playing like the best QB this year.
@@jchuks23 Bama's defense isn't trash but they are significantly worse than what they've been in the past. They gave up 28 to Texas A&M and 31 to Mississippi. Clemson held A&M to 10 and Auburn held A&M to 20. Auburn held Mississippi to 14. Bama is 30th in yards allowed per game and 18th in points allowed per game, but they've only played 1 offense in the top 40 in total offense this year. They've played mediocre offenses(minus LSU) and still been just okay. Alabama has a great offense but their defense is at best a borderline top 20 defense and that's based solely on Saban's track record and the number of NFL players on the roster. In fairness, LSU hasn't been much better, if at all. Saturday was the 3rd time LSU has given up 38 or more this season. The other 2 times were against Texas and Vandy. LSU is 33rd in yards allowed per game and 36th in points allowed per game. They have, however, played better offenses than Bama. I think we saw 2 great offenses on Saturday but neither team has a great defense.

The interception at the end of the 2nd quarter is what killed us. We gave up 7 as a result and lost by 5.

Clark made some great points about this new LSU team. It's not Les Miles LSU anymore and we can now step away from that light for good after this win. This is Coach O's LSU team. The same heart we always had but with an offense to match. Both Joe B's are killing it this season for the Tigers and I hope we keep the train running strong each week. Tua looked like a guy that was injured and rusty yet he still managed 4 touchdowns and 418 yards . Tua was more impressive in loss than any victory .

Stephen a's biggest problem is that hes a hype beast. He gets so many picks wrong because he always bets on the obvious supposed overpowered team and doesn't actually show any type of true knowledge of what it takes to win in a sport. He's been doing it AT LEAST since the Lakers Pistons in '04 when it was obvious Detroit was the superior team going in, multiple years against the Spurs, multiple times for Bama etc.,

this was actually a pretty great game. alabama started out shaky but shook it off and had some huge plays. Burrow made just enough real clutch plays to hold them off.
