As a Travel Professional, I share your videos with my clients, I’ve been to hundreds of All-Inclusive Resorts but your videos are detailed enough that I do feel comfortable enough to share them, don’t stop going to these resorts and sharing with us, thank you!
My wife and I have watched your vids on the Barcelo and Lindo . You are the best reviewer we have watched . We took your advise before my wife found your second review of the Lindo. We booked for Jan 2020 at the Lindo . The superior double room. Thanks for your great reviews.
Hi I enjoyed your review videos of the Lindo, I’m planning of going to the Riviera Maya and this is very good review. If you stay in this hotel, do you have access to go to their other different resorts like a day trip, for example go to spend the day at the Cancun or Cozumel resort?? I hope you can read my comment !!
Hi! I'd check with them first but I'm inclined to say yes. Many of the neighboring resorts are more than willing to show their grounds off and offer drinks / food as a form of advertising. We've done it in the past. It's pretty cool to "sample" the other resorts before committing to one and paying money.
Thank you! From what I gather, the Maya is a bit more upscale in terms of the rooms. I never stays at the Maya so I can only speak for the Lindo. I've walked through it a few times with my family. The rooms were a bit nicer and I believe they had access to pools which were exclusive to Maya residents.
Hi JaysDMC. Thanks for the video, it's excellent. My wife and I are going to go in early October, we already booked. Do you have access to the other complexes (paradise beach and paradise of the sea)? Thanks for your answer. Best regards.
You mentioned that on your 2nd trip you got the same room that you had previously. What room was that? Do you have a room recommendation, room type, or building recommendation that is an optimal spot? Thanks.
We were in rooms 5451 and 5452 which are connected. My wife and I had 1 room and the kids shared the other. Both rooms were very large and more than accommodating. We were right across from the lazy river and pool where everyone plays volleyball. If you're traveling with kids, this was a great setup. The kids LOVED having their own room.
Thinking of going here later this month. Is the mall strip food free or extra on top of the all inclusive cost? Also, what were the mosquitos like? Were you eaten alive?
The strip mall is completely free along with any of the foods and drinks they served. The novelty shops that sold games, shirts, flip flops, etc... that's NOT included. Mosquitoes were non existent actually. We came back to NYC to a ton of them!!!
I've only stayed at the Lindo. I've walked through the Maya and the rooms looked a little nicer. Not sure about price points though. Hopefully some one else can chime in on that. I'm pretty certain we all have access to the same restaurants. I'd imagine they have pools that are designated for Maya visitors only.
Going there in about 10 days thanks to your older reviews but what is a good amount to take there for spending ? Its been probably 8 years since I've been to that area. Its my wife and I along with our 12 year old daughter
Thanks We are staying on the other side (MAYA) which is the same resort but runs along the other side of the pool. Is that correct ? I believe they use the same pool, buffets, etc if I’m correct ?
@@JaysDMC leaving 4 days and can't wait!! I was going to ask you did you book any excursions ? If so which ones were worth it? Also is there free WIFI there ? And last question did you book all your restaurants as soon as you get there ? Thanks for your help !
@@Charles-nk3ep Hi Charles! Congrats, you're going to love it. We didn't do anything outside of the resort. So no excursions for us. We were never bored or felt cooped up so we never left the grounds. WiFi is all around the resort and surprisingly good! I was shocked. Usually WiFi is somewhat spotty but not here. My wife booked everything the first morning we woke at the resort. The first evening we were there the app was giving her problems so as soon as we woke up, we met with one of the concierge people and booked everything with him. Took no more than 7 minutes. Enjoy and have a safe trip!
I just got back from that resort and it is beautiful. The people are very friendly. My only complaints are the food and the drinks. The food is mediocre at best, and the drinks are so watered down you can’t even tell they have alcohol in them. If your the kind of person that wants to get a little buzz going your only going to get by shooting tequila.
Oh wow, I'm really shocked to hear that. Food was outstanding when we went and the booze was awesome. I agree about the staff and resort. Sounds like you had a great time.

You're going to love it!!! Congrats and yes, lets hope for no rain!!!
Thanks for the videos they’re great looking forward to this resort hopefully August 15 just me and the wife no kids

you deserve a dumbs up for all your doing in your movies. thanks for info.

What time do the bars close is there a 24hr bar??

Is the cafe at the Lindo part of the all inclusive deal? You can just go in and get a coffee on the house.
Yes, absolutely. Isn't that great?
Thanks
Is the alcohol premium brand such as Titos vodka or Jack Daniels for example...or is that an upgrade charge?
All included, even the top tier booze.
other then price, what's the difference from the Maya or lindo.... we share all restaurants and pools right?

We always go with a few hundred dollars. Plenty for tips and whatnot (cigars, memorabilia, etc...). 9/10 times we come back with most of it.

Did I see an Escape Room!!?
Indeed you do! That's new for 2019 as well! Pretty cool
