Thank you for the video. I was scratching my head a little because I have all the fresh O-rings ready on the bench, but couldn't figure out how to replace the ones inside the tool holder. Your video should help me remove the lock ring and get that sorted out. Once I've done that, the 2-24 should be ready to rock once again.

hi, i have a problem with my drill, sometimes when i need to drill in masonry and i put my drill on drill and hammer position my drill make a bad noise and i cannot drill in masonry then i need to turn again to only the position and try again maybe a couple of times until it work. do you know what could be the problem? after i watched your video i'll try to disassemble my drill next week

You have overheated it. You need to clean it, change oil and oil seal.
@@handyman7282 : Which Oil? I saw only grease. Can I use silicon grease for lubrication? You mean the seal of the gearbox towards the motor?

Hello, it can be armature or field bured out. Armature comutator may look dark or have burn marks. Andcyiu need to check armature bearings
