See there is a lot less Precursor stuff in later games, and any stuff that is there we already know the purpose of, so between that and the abundance of human stuff with obvious usages, there is a lot less mystery in later games compared to TPL I'm afraid! I'll have a good think about it all though and see what I can do -they are huge games, there is bound to be a few things :)

@@derrinmaloney1039 Your ability to narrate a scene, really set the tone like the listener is right there with you on the beach of sandover for example, would be reason enough to listen. The way you can find the history of areas is something I've never been able to do in my dozen of play throughs. I guess an example might be the temple in the volcano in 3. I'd love to hear how that place might have been visited or used in its prime. Was it a pilgrimage spot? Is there hidden precursor robots or tech I never noticed in the walls? When your done with TPL I hope you feel comfortable enough to try jak 2 and 3 commentary like this since I think it would be watchable

I think it's safe to assume that Fire Canyon, Geyser Rock, Klaww's lair, Volcanic Crater, and the Lava Tube, and Dig site are all part of the same volcanic system. Oh, a bit of trivia: it's confirmed in the Jak 3 strategy guide that the mayor moved into a hut overlooking Fire Canyon following the events of Jak 1.
They have to be, too close not to be! I had no idea about that trivia! I wonder is Fire Canyon in the lore more of an actual canyon in scale which is how the Mayor is overlooking it? As the canyon stands in-game, it's not exactly scenic 😂
I want to see someone make a fully 1:1, overhead map of both Jak and Daxter and Jak 2, so we can line up Samos' hut and see exactly what's going on there. See, based on what i've surmised most of Haven City is actually the ocean in Jak 1. But I think it would be interesting to find out if, say, Misty Island or the Seagull's nest etc line up with places on the Jak 2 map.
I'd love that too, would really shed some light on the layout of the world! I'm of the same opinion - some crazy tectonic activity could have laid the foundations for Haven over the water, kinda how volcanoes can create islands but on a larger scale? Thanks for watching 😁
The Precursor Basin..one of my favorite locations of Rock Village. Such a lustrous veiw of the area, the Lighting Moles that roam the plains. And most importantly, the large basin that stands in the middle of it all. What could this basin be holding? What technological astonishments hide inside of this mighty relic of the Precursors?Perhaps it is a lab where the Precursors created the eco that has shaped the lands? We do not know, but I hope to know. And not to mention the Mountain Pass that sits behind Rock Village, perhaps its large terrain has more than just ONE passage through it.
I have the audio and video done for the Rock Village episode, just need to edit it all together and then I'll be doing the Precursor Basin episode ^^ So much to work with in the Basin, with all the Precursor structures lying around and even anomalies like the dark eco plant and holographic rings - lots of theories and lots to discuss 😁 I want to talk about it all sooo bad right now but I don't want to spoil the episode so I'll just leave it with a question: Many Precursor structures seem like buildings. Built into the earth and serving a purpose in the location where they're built. So what if the structure in the Basin isn't actually a building at all? 👀
