  • Because the manual which came with this diy 3d printer kit is a mess, I made this short video about which connection goes where on the main board. If I had this list before I started building, it would have saved me a lot of time.
This video is the first in a series of videos about this 3D Printer. If you like to see more, consider subscribing to my channel; that would be awesome!
This is the list of components which go on the mainboard:
    1. Power
    2. Heating bed
    4. Extruder heater
    11. Filament feeder motor
    12. Z-Axis motor (up/down) left
    16. Z-Axis motor (up/down) right
    13. Y-Axis motor (forward/backward)
    14. X-Axis motor (left/right)
    15.1. Fan for extruder
    15.3. Fan for PCB
    17. Z-Axis stopper switch
    18. Y-Axis stopper switch
    19. X-Axis stopper switch
    20. LCD Connection EXP1
    21. LCD Connection EXP2
    22. Temperature sensor extruder
    24. Temperature sensor heating bed

Amazing, thank you. Mine has been stood around for years unfinished. Now the fun starts.

I have a Prusa i3 Pro B and am using Cura 4.5 software with as setting of Prusa I3 MK2 and I'm not happy with the print outs. What software are you using.

I was not happy with the results of Slic3r. So I went for Repetier Host with CuraEngine as slicer.

Did I miss an episode where you bought and assembled it?

Haha. No. I assembled it without filming it, because the printer is a bit too large for my workbench. Also, so many people have already filmed it, that my video would not be very helpful. I will do a video about the strange things I encountered while building and some tips and tricks which may save other people some time during assembly.

    • @basvandersluis5662
      @basvandersluis5662  Před 6 lety +1

EXP1 is the top one, and EXP2 is the bottom one on the LCD-board.

EXP1 is LCD, EXP2 is the SD-card slot.
