I've never met mine so don't feel bad. I kept my kids "padrinos" in the family. I'm not Catholic I'm Christian y en la iglesia cristiana buscamos quien los presente my oldest was my cousin and his wife who were there for me since day one and they still are my second was my mom and stepdad and my third was my oldest daughter and my sister(we actually did his presentation on their quinceañera ceremony).

I haven’t seen my padrinos in about 8 years and I saw them at a funeral. They were never around thru out my whole life. If I saw them it was at a party or get together many years would go by before o saw them. I invited them to my wedding 7 years ago and they didn’t even come.
