@Selena Yan A lot of style, but not much dramatic substance...also the best bits of the book were left out.
Harlow Blackadder It was sooo visually pleasing and yes you notice the clothes And Versailles more than anything else but they did a pretty good job as well. You have to think of it in terms of modern mixed with old. Especially with Kirsten’s character.
i love it. just because a movie is about vapidity doesn’t mean the movie itself is vapid.
@@harlowblackadder356 I am of the opposite opinion. I prefer the more standard period pieces but I think it’s still very creative and really well made and dunst does a good job bringing humanity to her role.
