Interestingly I thought it was actress Bridget Fonda who was playing the customer here, because in the beginning she asks if the movie is called "Point of no return", and I thought it was maybe a funny reference. I checked that movie (there's a movie with that title from 1993) and Bridget Fonda was in it, and they do look a bit similar, so I thought it was Bridget Fonda!
I would love to see her and Denzel working together as themselves

heres johnny the skit was a little awkward, I couldn't laugh because all I was thinking was that poor woman but that just goes to show the dude is really good at acting
Ropsana Khanom, This skit was made years ago, when people were smart enough not to be over sensitive and appreciate a joke. Unfortunately not today, just look at you. Crying because you felt a woman was getting verbally assaulted in the skit instead of enjoying the comedy. The way people view things has fundamentally changed for the worse.
Sean Steel you are reading way too into it 😂😂😂 the guy put me on edge with his questions and if the customer was a guy I'd be saying the same thing because the return counter gives me anxiety man. I like how you think I'm being over sensitive when it's you that's gotten the wrong picture because I started off watching this as a comedy but then shit, it became a tense drama in my head where I was in my seat wondering if she'd get her money back or not. Verbal abuse be damned I don't give a shit, honestly you need to chill some more and realise not everything is about, well whatever you're on about.
His chris tucker impersonation is flawless too

At first, when she said "it was the wrong color", I didn't really think about it until he said this line xD I laughed sooo hard
I hate the people that bring stuff up to your register and then decide they don't want something and expect you to put the item with the returns..., like cashiers have nothing better to do then pick up after lazy people.

Also I was once waiting on a woman who's little boy (maybe ten) was putting the cart away & there were other stray carts so he begins putting those away too & his mother says all nasty like "that's THEIR job!!" I wanted to back hand her. I turned to the boy and said "thank you for being so helpful and considerate. It's a shame more adults aren't... " Went right over her head but he totally got it & smiled
@@heydeanie Hey Deanie..., yeah..., some people shouldn't have children..., but that boy is going to grow up to be a great man..., with respect and regards for others. In an unrelated story..., years ago..., here in Maine..., the second whitest state in the country..., I was working at Rite Aid, standing outside for my smoke break and saw this elderly woman approaching the front door. I was only a few feet away and went to open the door for her. This woman was about four feet tall and a million years old..., old white lady..., I opened the door..., she looked up at me, smiled, patted me the arm and said,
"You're a very polite negro"
What the....? What?!!😱
But, what could I do...?, she was being genuinely sincere. It was actually kind of sweet. 🙂

Best Denzel impression I have ever heard. Given his wide repertoire, Jay was totally underutilized at SNL and at the time, I was shocked to hear SNL let him go.
It is still schocking to me. He is one of the most talented impersonators they have ever had on that show.

@@clairerose6907 He and Taran Killam were let go at the same time. It's a shame because they were both great at doing impressions. Jay's Denzel, Will Smith, Kanye, Katt Williams, etc., and Taran's Eminem, Brad Pitt, Ashton Kutcher, Piers Morgan, etc., were dead-on. And their original characters like M.C. George Costanza, Daniel Frye, Jebediah Atkinson, the Merryville robot/animatronic. They were hilarious.

Pretty sure Jay literally channeled Denzel's spirit. Somewhere Denzel had stopped moving, with a glazed over look in his eyes, bcuz Jay had to have borrowed his spirit. The impression was SPOT ON! Not just the voice, but *everything.*
