Theres also the concept that the PYRAMIDS were used to make gold...granite can hold high heat...
Research how gold is manufactured... you'll see lots of similar elements...you dont need a big pyramid for it though. This had many uses...but the size was also to provide for the people.
Like in ayurvedic medicine, water was stored in copper gold and even silver vases bottles and basins. That's why everyone back then had gold and was super advanced and anciently speaking, very well provided for and taken care of, not to mention the gardens of food they had. This makes me think about how did the egyptians made gold into things. Like fire can't have that same result. Their gold seems to be intricate and flawless.
