Utah Pow Pilgrimage Week 5 - La Sals

My Utah journey wouldn't be complete without some desert skiing, so I spent a few days exploring the La Sal Mountains. There's plenty of snow in the La Sals this year, but constant wind made it tough to find good ski conditions. The highlight was skiing the north face of Mt Tukuhnikivatz, Moab's rose of the desert.

Nothing quite like trying to make turns on breakable crust. I've been considering the La Sals for a couple of years. How long is the skinner? I have about a 3-4 mile limit until my knees start to protest.
