It’s awful that this tech niche has become really saturated…getting a job is close to being impossible for beginners especially. It’s widely known that lots of designers were laid off last year and this means that as a beginner you are competing with top designers for the job positions. Unfortunately companies list out entry level jobs just to employ experienced designers even for the low salary they offer cause they know these people do not have a choice due to the job competition in the market.

Every tech niche is saturated at the moment, especially low technical roles like UX Design, data analysis, etc. Compared to other industries, the pay in tech as a UX designer is much higher so saturation is a given. That’s why my goal with this channel is to provide design education that can help people have an edge against the competition. It’s important that designers focus on how they can become 1% better everyday rather than focus on Layoffs. Companies are still hiring UX designers everyday and people are filling these roles. So the question to ask is ‘what are the people filling these roles doing differently’?

@@samuelfabayo1370 I think what @scottderek3131 is trying to say of course they are some opening but obviously companies give first preference to someone with experience who is the one who was laid off other than fresh beginner who might need to shadow a senior for some time until they get a real experience.
