Pre sequels VHs had some really good synergy with all of their skill trees. Athena was my main but each character felt great to play
Its always nice to see a new Presequel run! If you ask me, the pre-sequel is way over hated. I love a lot of the mechanics like the low gravity, in air boosts, slam attacks, etc. Playing as Athena, Timothy and Aurelia is really fun.
it is a fine game. lacked support and some nice end game stuff. meaning no longevity for this game. still nice to occasionally do a single run.
I totally agree! The grinder was also a good idea, in my opinion.

imo Aurelia's melee attack is the funniest thing to come out of this franchise

I just platinum the pre sequel, and man its a grind towards the end. The hardest trophies are the claptrap skill point trophy, and the complete all badass challenged in my opinion. The discover all locations is tricky because there is a few points that arent blacked out, and you have to discover some that are already "discovered".
Fully agree, literally just got the platinum this morning. The grinder challenges were so tedious aha

So remember when Skyrim came out on PC and people with great hardware were running into a lot of physics bugs? Well, that's basically the answer to your "why does that work at 30fps"
A lot of older engines, to make physics calculations easier, would tie physics and framerate together. Because consoles capped their FPS to 30 or 60 (30 in this case) the physics would work "Best" at 30 fps
It's stupid but it's true (and now newer games are still struggling with this, most recently, Bungie and Destiny, where DoT effects would scale depending on your FPS, but I think that got patched, I think...)

Pretty excited to see you play him. On my playthrough he was really strong, but it was mostly thanks to community patch and I have no idea how to build him otherwise

It's funny that I never really liked TPS too much, but after BL3, I actually enjoy it way more than ever before
OMG - I never thought of dropping the framerate to make that jump! I might just start a new playthrough to test it.
There were a few things in Borderlands 2 that hitched on framerate as well - Claptrap getting stuck on the elevator up to Flint, Jessup running to open the door, getting stuck on the step outside raiders HQ in Sanctuary...
Honestly I can't imagine myself 100%-ing BL2 or TPS just because of the all challenges requirement. Only BL game I 100%-ed so far is standalone Tina DLC 😂

I cqn definitely relate to the jumps at 6:40 but the reason why that jump sucks is because there's a tiny slope just before the ramp that causes your buggy to bounce on the ramp rather than launching off of it

A tip for grinding out the kills for the different challenges us using the "Guardian Hunters" mission and just killing the Fire Wraith spawn one over and over.

I really enjoyed this game and played the hell out of it. Never understood the hate it got.
It was becouse of the really bad end game.... The only thing you could do was fighting mirokawa and get a range bazooka to grind a lucky legendary find and that was boring 😅

Hardest achievement for me this was finding 3 other people to do the ghost hunting questline. Guess for a youtuber that would be alot easier to do.

ayyyy I just finished TPS achievements last week I had all but the shatter 3 frozen enemies achievement and claptraps action packages one for the last year and a half since i started doing the achievements literally was at like 98% for so long since i couldn't get that shatter one to work and then was playing through as claptrap to get his achievement and got lucky with a frost bouncing betty and froze 3 enemies at once and boom finally finished the achievements

I can't remember, is the wombat the rocket jumping one or was that the landscaper. All I remember is that doing the sticky nade jumps were fun as heck in low gravity, because you can go flyin.

I say it all the time on all the borderlands videos that exist on the internet but I really hope that after they make Borderlands 4 with a hopefully shiny new engine that go back and remake 1,2, and TPS in the new engine. 1 in particular would practically be anew experience on just the Borderlands 3 engine, imagine it on whatever 4 is running on?

the pre sequels achievements are so much more reasonable than borderlands 2 especially due to there not being any slog dlcs like hammerlocks hunt or borderlands 1's Moxxi dlc
