If you would start playing a fromsoftgame or souls-like
I recommend either dark souls 3 or remnant 2 ,also even though elden ring is a game I recommend I wouldn't start with that
Full Remnant 2 playthrough sounds good to me, I'd definitely watch it.
Honestly I second this. Remnant II is such a fun game. :D
And is not that hard until you get to the final boss
Please do a remnant to play through! I recently purchased it and it is incredible. It is kind of rough at first but once you get your bearings it's amazing!
@@LARSTAKA-666it was hard till I looked up tank builds for the final boss (shout out Vash Cowaii). Grinded what I could doing adventure mode runs in survivor and I beat the final boss. I don’t have the best dps or fastest kill times but I can tank for days. I would have never been able to clear Apocalypse without a tank build either. Cheeks of steel baby, cheeks of steel.
Yes!
Hell k6 I'd watch a whole playthrough of any. Your commentary and comedy is just so good
that's very nice of you to say man. Really appreciate that.
@@Ki11ersixHonestly, even if it was a game I despise I’d consider watching just to see what you do with it lol
Jedi fallen order would be cool to see! They have difficulty options too. I’d say that one is pretty easy to get into
As someone who got every achievement in Elden Ring. Watching people who has never played it try and figure things out is always fun to watch for me. I'd watch a full playthrough of K6 Elden Ring.
elden ring is kinda alright starting out but gets insane in the endgame, would love a k6 malenia video
also more variety would be so cool! elden ring has lots of wacky weapons and spells for the borderlands fans (you can get a giant finger on a stick that literally flicks people to death)
I would highly recommend remnant 2! It scales with you while keeping the challenge and gives a near similar gameplay with borderlands.
The loot is something to hunt down, but it's definitely worth trying.
Plus, dual archetype customization and multiple trinkets help to build anything you'd like in normal mode.
It's also worth with a team, but can be done solo (especially easy with the Good Boi from the Handler archetype.
Would recommend over Elden Ring, all day.
Yeah recommend a hard soulslike to a guy with zero experience in these kind of games. That'll make him to never play of them ever again
@@user-qp8yp5et9y You'd be surprised how very beginner friendly Remnant 2 is. It's better than what the other games don't give.
Also, K6 Literally asked for recommendations in the video. Just thought he would be interested to looking before jumping in. He doesn't have to take it immediately.
@@TheMrMayo i finished remnant 2 you know, i dont think its beginner friendly at all
@@user-qp8yp5et9y Remnant 1 was my first souls like and imo Remnant II is easier than the first game. Especially just starting on Survivor difficulty (most souls likes don’t even have a difficulty option). It’s not impossibly hard at all and lets you learn the game, Veteran difficulty is when things start to ramp up but still not as hard as it’s where you go after your first clear of the game with a decent build. Nightmare and Apocalypse is where min maxing your build and the true punishing difficulty takes off. Also dying and getting frustrated is part of the process for Remnant it’s how you grow as a player, it’s how I went from taking 30 some tries to kill the Cube to getting it now first try. Grinding Adventure Mode is a thing you should do, you can keep grinding adventures on survivor to make the game a breeze with all the loot you find. Very curious why you say what you say and wonder what kinda build you were running. And what kind of guns you used, or if you B-Lined the story and did zero grinding and preparing for bosses in Adventure Mode. I know for a fact I needed at least two weeks of grinding gear together to even attempt the final boss, thing was outta my league.
If you're going to platinum ALL the borderlands games you can't forget the Tina one shot adventure it also has a platinum
oh no... what have I done?
The Vanquisher on Zane is one of my favorite early game synergies. Combining violent momentum with the Increased slide speed the gun gives really lets you absolutely explode people.
Remnant 2 would definitely be a good fit. It has difficulty settings and the normal mode is a great "welcome to soulslikes" level of challenge and the replay value is pretty solid with how many little secrets and bosses/encounters you come across.
Star Helix is one of my favorite guns. Each bullet hits hard but if you can land those converging shots it SHREDS
Remnant 2 was the first soulslike I ever played. Fuckin loved it. The final bosses can be brutal
5:29 We all appreciate your emotional and heartfelt confession
It was time
I agree with another commenter. You're comedic as hell, and the commentary is just *Chef's Kiss* So play whatever you feeling.
thanks man. Means a lot
REMNANT 2! Many different build options, and the ability to change up classes whenever you want!
Remnant 2. I never played a Soulslike game before and it was such a blast. It has elements from borderlands and destiny as far as the guns feel.
Remnant 2 or Elden ring would be amazing to watch then you can have a death by incidents counter and would love to see what build you can come up with
Missed opportunity with the ice queens death there, golden shower.
remnant 2 for sure!! full playthrough would be sick
Remnant 2 full playthrough!!! Be sure to do the one true king adventure at least once too!
For remmant 2 honestly your content has grown on me so I'd 100% watch that. Also doing all achievements rn for the bl series myself. Have one left in bl1 and have completed bl2. It's honestly nice going back through these games
I was so pumped when you first told us about the science machine I never used it befor but after that I always have butt stallion milk running unless I'm grinding for max level!
For Souls-like, I think Jedi games gonna be best option. Dunno anything about Remnant 2, but Elden Ring gonna be difficult for someone who doesn’t have any experience in souls-like extravaganza. And I would love to see entire playtrough of anything you choose anyway.
JEDI FALLEN ORDER!!! i would definitely watch one of my favourite streamers play one of my favorite games
5:00 Fantastic Planet is a great album.
It's a classic. Have you heard their new stuff? Wild Type Droid is my favorite of theirs now.
I absolutely LOVE the Night Hawkin. It’ll literally carry you through normal mode and it’s super easy to get.
Love catching a late night K6 video while working late!
Don’t work too hard bro. Have a great night.
Best moment was right at the end when you got the cyclone stuck, just beautiful. 😂🤣
I would absolutely watch a full 2+ hour playthrough of Eldenring or a series similar to this as long as your editor keeps up the damn good work.
It'd be neat if someone took Maya's book and shoved it in a robot and that just somehow worked. And she got a Gravity Gun instead of Phaselock.
I'd definitely watch a full star wars playthrough
I played through Remnant 1 so I’d definitely watch a play-through of 2.
From my experience with souls games, it’s not that they’re difficult. It’s mostly just they force you to play the game in a very unorthodox way. You have to slow down and think which is something we don’t typically do when gaming. I wouldn’t say any of them is a “good starting point” but I think you can have fun with any of them if you take the your time with the games
When you got the Star Helix, all I could think of was Mitch Hedberg. Such a great comedian, taken way too soon.
I think I subconsciously channeled him for a moment there
I suck at souls like, but I beat and loved Jedi. Easy place to start, would love to watch a full play through of any game tho
The Kaos is so fun to use in early game.
I would love to watch an Elden Ring playthrough by you, it's arguably the most new player friendly soulslike out there as well.
remnant 2 is probably the least of the nut pain in the list lol
A k6 elden ring playthrough would be amazing, maybe not he the easiest out of your choices but maybe the most forgiving just bc the sheer size of the game. Love your vids keep it up, R.I.P Paul(Mitten Squad)
I Would LOVE to Watch more than Borderlands every Once in a While :D
As soon as "Claptrap" made it into the cutscene, I was broken. I didn't expect that XD
Lords of the fallen is a relatively easy place to start for souls like
Elden ring is in my top 3 favorite games, but fallen order is much more forgiving so you can’t go wrong with either game.
I definitely think Remnant 2 would be up your alley out of all the others
I’d watch a Jedi Survivor playthrough all the way!
from the fish, to claptrap, the commentary is awesome and alec's editing is just awesome with it. Thanks K6! also souls like is always about punching yourself in the balls, that the thing......
glad you enjoyed. I edited this one myself. I gave Alec time off for the holidays :) He deserves it.
I'd watch a full playthrough of you going all Jedi for sure. (Also the Star Helix is massively underrated.)
Remnant 2 is hellllllla dope trust me. It has difficulty settings so you can start on the easiest difficulty and then move up when your ready
Regarding the Marcus is telling a story thing: maybe that's why everything is so FUBAR. Like, bouncing fish that explode and kill people, or guns that shoot knives (that cause splash damage...?), or any of the other ridiculousness that is Borderlands.
5:30 Idk what k6 is talking about, who doesn't love the smell of fish👀
K6 I have 286 plus hours in Remnant II at this point and 300 plus hours in the first game. You will get hooked. Greatest piece of advice I can give you is to cool off and do something else when a boss keeps wrecking you (or get a tank build together). Either way you’ll love the experience.
What’s the best way to get past the early game constant deaths?
@@Ki11ersixI’d say playing the Adventure Mode feature to experience different encounters. You’ll get new loot and get stronger just exploring. Don’t B-Line the story you’ll have a bad time. Experience the different worlds in Adventure Mode (once you unlock em) this game has so many random generated encounters you’ll always feel like you’re getting new things. Though a word of warning there will be one planet you might not like in Remnant II. Two words I can say about it. Why, fog?
@@Ki11ersixoh and the game has builds for days. You can be a high dps kind of player or become so tanky you out heal any damage you’re dealt and can just bully bosses being a literal rock. And if it means anything I’m ASS at anything even remotely souls like, but Remnant II and Remnant I made me feel like a god.
Hey K6! Elden Ring was my first souls game, and I had a lot of fun with it. I didn't understand all the game mechanics at once, like attribute scaling and weight ratios. The gameplay is equal parts adventure and strategy/patience, the latter of which I learned the hard way. The key to success in Elden Ring is to stay resilient, or recognize that other areas are open for exploration to improve your character to return later. If you want the adventure (and lightsabers) without as much strategy, Fallen Order and Survivor are just as entertaining, and far less complicated. I cannot speak to the Remnant games, but I hope this helps with your decision. I'll watch whatever you choose!
Lies of P is beginner friendly.
Difficulty wise, it is between Eldenring and Sekiro.
I'm on NG+10 (PS5) now and still waiting for a new dlc ❤
You reignited my excitement for BL3, thank you K6!
Hey! Glad I could help dude!
Goofballs attacking you online has rekindled my interest in your channel.
Thanks dude. All about fun and positivity over here
Not sure which game out of those souls ones you should play as I haven't played any of them, however I would 100% watch you play one, be it part or full play through. Whatever you play it's going to be thoroughly entertaining
The vanquisher is basically every Cod Player's favorite cause slide cancel bunny hop
Fallen Order is definitely not a full on "souls level" game but it does have a decent challenge
id watch the entire remnant 2 playrhough if you did one fr fr love any vid of yours
Thank you!
Full Remnant 2 sounds great. I have wanted to play that game as well for a while... thats my choice
I would watch it. Whichever you choose should be cool.
Remnant 2 starts off decently easy takes about 2-3 hours for a regular playthrough though once you feel ready you can progress to harder difficulties.
I personally love Remnant 2. I loved the first and love the second even more. Also since Remnant is procedurally generated, it is the closest to a RNG souls like game that you can farm in (sort of). if you like farming in Borderlands, Remnant is definitely the choice.
Remnant 2 is probably more your style but I think watching you play Elden Ring would be hilarious
I’m terrible at “souls like” games and Jedi was a challenge but a fun one for me,I’d go for that, not as aggravating as Elden ring
As someone who HATES Souls Like Games, I LOVED Fallen Order and Survivor. It wasn’t super unforgiving and a GREAT story too! Gameplay was very fun and rewarding!
Playthrough sounds good to me. Love to see you do Fallen Order or Elden Ring.
I would watch remnant 2 in a long format. I watch on twitch when I can but miss most days.
I think you would enjoy remnant for sure
"I want to play a Souls-like game, but I don't want to constantly punch myself in the balls"
I'm sorry, K6, but that sounds like conflicting interests to me.
Hahaha so true
that bad santa cut had me rolling 😂
Thanks, had fun with that one
Marcus has lied to us before, namely him dying in Robolution in BL1. He is a businessman first and foremost, he needs to get some stakes and interest afterall
I admit I wouldn’t be too interested in a Soulslike that isn’t a Fromsoft game but I am willing to try and watch Remnant
Natejujitsu's timing was perfect for that edit... kudos to him 😂😂
That cracked me up dude lol
Fallen order is such a good and fun game i think you'll like it
play Remnant 2. I got my friend into the first game and he fell in love. it's a challenging game, but it's not ridiculously difficult. each world and dungeon are generally randomized so no 2 playthroughs will be identical
No comment on which souls like to play, but any long form content is completely fine with me. Even if it’s just a repost from stream
Elden ring is definitely the hardest of the three, but i wouldnt mind watching either of the options.
Remnant 2! Just finished my the story. Now time for the grind
I would definitely recommend remnant 2 or even the first if you haven't played it....I would absolutely watch a play through of both 👍
Remnant playthrough would be awesome
You're haunted by Linoge...
I'm haunted by Malik's bane...
The Hellfire not being Maliwan is so monumentally stupid that I genuinely am worried about Gearbox as a company. It’s up there with moving the Quadomizer from the Rampager.
What was the thought process? Someone had to pitch bringing back the Hellfire, then someone (maybe the same person) designed the gun to be Dahl, then someone had to approve it (maybe, hopefully), and finally people had to code it and put it into the game. AFTER THAT QA testing and final review happened. How is it that at no point of this hypothetical process did someone not say “Hey, the Hellfire is a famous Maliwan gun all about a high fire DoT, maybe it should stay a Maliwan gun instead of the manufacturer that we’re making all about alternating rates of fire…?”
Elden ring has many different ways to ease the difficulty as the game goes on, so a play through wouldn't be the hardest thing in the world to complete. And most of the hardest stuff resides in optional areas, so it never has to be touched. Nearly every weapon is modifiable, so there's a lot of variety in play.
Remnant 2 playthrough by Ki11erSix sounds great I wonder what archetype (class) he would start xD
Remenant 2 or remant are challenging but as a person who doesn’t have much souls like experience it was a nice familiar yet difficult experience for me
Remnant 2 is amazing
The best moments was, K6 was the "The Skip dudes!" 😂
had a couple of great skips lol
fallopian tubes the true raid bosses of bl3
Hi! I would love seeing you playing Elden Ring tbh! Cheers, have fun and happy winter season!
It's funny cuz the Maliks Bane is the linoge for me when I streamed lol 😅
Jedi Fallen Order is probably your best bet if you want to start easy, plus it’s pretty good fan service for any Star Wars fan. Remnant II is also a solid choice, though it will feel pretty different to just about any other Soulslike you could play.
Elden Ring is easily the overall best of the bunch. Just don't let people tell you that using Spirit Ashes is somehow "playing the game in the wrong way". Just summon stuff if you need to. And there are some pretty OP weapons you can get really early like the Bloodhound Fang or Reduvia which are both in the very first area and are easily S tier weapons. Magic is also a good way to just remove a lot of the difficulty in the early game.
Its a long ass game though. My first playthrough took over 100 hours. And by now I sunk over 1000 hours into that game.
Remant and Star Wars are definitely the easier games to just pick up and play.
Remnant 2 has the least "ball punching" difficulty as it has no penalties for dying other than enemies respawning. Elden ring is a good starting point for sword and magic souls like. But I'm a major fan of Nioh 2 as the fighting is far more flashy/ smooth feeling + as you have no souls experience you won't fall into the pitfalls a lot souls like players hit, that makes them quit it out of frustration.
The star helix falls off at mayhem 11 tho but in normal mode its slaps. And the troopers will scale to your level so you can go back and get a new one every few levels
Would watch any playthrough you'd post but if I had to pick a first out of the 3 offered, eldin ring for sure
the star wars jedi games have an easy mode that you can select and since they are star wars games they are easier than regular soulsborne games.
If you REALLY want that first car, start the drive, but jump out of the vehicle before you get there and walk over!
I'd watch remnant 2 playthrough. Love that game
If you do Remnant 2, start easy and work up a build to try harder difficulties and earn better weapons and armor. I think you'll enjoy it!
Elden Ring will be the best bet, you have access to great builds from the get go and there are ways to farm runes so the game is really only as hard you make it. Also really satisfying when you improve.
I'd watch it without a doubt
