- Hello :)
This is the requested cover I've done of the song "Summer Nights" from the movie Grease.
The bass player could have been one of these fine players - Mike Porcaro, David Hungate, Max Bennett, David Allen Ryan, Wm. J. Bodine, Dean Cortez, Harold Cowart. If anyone knows for sure, please let me know and I'll update this information.
This transcription can be found at www.muzento.com under "Intermediate Learning Songs".
Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy :)

Great video! I'm just getting into bass and these have been so fun to see such great songs covered so well. Would you be able to do August is an Angel by Degrees of Freedom? It's the song that made me want to get a bass guitar.

You know that I mentioned that to you last year, I asked if you have the tab like you play in the video, Glad you changed it, I could transpose it now, but when I bought tab and notation back then it would of been too much for me.
Ya, I should've done it sooner...sorry about that. I hope you're enjoying it now :)
all in my youth in that song
mine too ;)
Hi! Could you please try "just a touch of love" by slave. Great playing as always!
Hi Eduardo, thanks for the request. I'm not familiar with this band. It was pretty good. This would be a fun one to do, but I'll have to add it to the long "maybe" list as I'm booked up with my "paid supporters". Thanks :)
@@BassCovers Cool! Of course, no problem! It takes a lot of effort and time, i understand. Thank you!
😊
:)
Hahahaha didn't expect this one (killed it though). Do you reckon you could do Shape I'm In by Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons
That's cool...congratulations! Yes the song is in the cue. I'll be taking a look at it soon ;)
@@BassCovers sorry. I don't mean to nag 😁
Can you do rock and roll is here to stay from the same soundtrack, Grease
I'll check it out...thanks!
Interesting time signature changes, but the flow of the piece never stops - really good transcription, thank you!
Hi Stephen. It's very common in musical theatre to see multiple time signatures. Thanks! :)
Actually quite technical
very "musical theatre"
