I lodged my file on 3rd of May for Victoria University Sydney Campus with 17 lakhs ITR with 40 lakhs funds and still waiting for my visa to be granted as it has already been 64 days but still didn't received my visa . My intake is 29 july 2024 .

I got a serious question. I lodged my file on 23 may, last updated was 25 may and my medical approved was done on 31 may. I am gonna pursue master of computing major computer science in curtin University
I am still waiting for my student visa... thing is, some people getting their visa in 15 days some, 4 days or auto granted is that even possible and if yes why others taking so long given the fact my all documents are correct and legal and my sole purpose coming to Australia is for education only 😅. I already deferred my intake from feb to july, now maybe i will have to defer it again 😢
Average processing time is between 14 days and 4 months. It’s clearly mentioned on the home affairs website

You can study yes, no problem, but you will have to return back to your country as you won’t be eligible for 485 visa

You can apply for a different visa i.e TR but not the same visa

It takes between 2-6 months for visa to come so no guarantee about the timeline. You should defer your course.

New 485 conditions do not apply to Indian students.
Indians are still getting 3 year TR instead of 2 because of the trade agreement, but the extension of TR is not possible for all nationalities including Indians. Read in detail first

The waiting time varies from 1-4 months on average. More during peak intake season
