This was really groundbreaking for an Indian Actress to breakdown their career like this in a Vanity fair but im still surprised that they didtn include two of her most memorable movies - Fashion and Barfi! I mean come on! Almost all people who know PC (at least here in India) recognised her from Fashion and Barfi movie also made her a versatile actor.. So im a little mad but still its great😄

I'm still salty they didn't include Fashion. That movie was one of the turning points of her career that made her the superstar she is today, she carried that movie and it's still one of her best performances to date. And someone mentioned Barfi in the comments, come on! How can they forget Barfi?!! For me Priyanka's best performances have been in Aitraaz, Fashion, Barfi and Kaminey!

It reminds me a lot of Jackson Wang, he left a fledging Olympic fencing career to become a singer in a country where he didn't even know the language. He said something similar, that he didn't want to get to his old age and think, "what if I had tried it". All successful people have this in common, courage to risk it all.

She did not have a nose job for asthetic reasons. It was a medical surgery. She has talked about it in her memoir " Unfinished". She was very sad about it, said that she felt like someone else for months. And had a couple of corrective surgeries after that.
Yet, no one is talking about how she kept going and made an amazing career for herself while she was going through these things feeling like that.

hair and the EYEBROWS. She kept them so thin in the past and now they're thicker and they really do shape ur face, so that's the big change. Everything else is the same to me (she still had full lips then and the nose is the name) She did have a surgery to remove a benign mole that was growing on her nose which she has already talked about. So obv. that procedure shifted her nose a bit, but it was a health thing, not for cosmetics purposes.
She is the female lead in Citadel by Russo Brothers. That will put her in better standing in Hollywood.

While many have talked about omission of certain films, but I was hoping the video had highlighted her production company work, which has also branched into Hollywood. So, she's gonna be there for long I feel. Her upcoming projects include "The Citadel" (upcoming Amazon Prime series (edit: forgot to mention it is created by the Russo Brothers) with Richard Madden) and a lead in a movie "Text for You" (her first in Hollywood after 10 years, like she said in an interview) along with Sam Heughan and Celine Dion , directed by James Strouse who made "Grace is Gone", which was a great drama featuring John Cusack.

She had problems getting steps done in dance numbers and songs in her early movies and she used the time break on the set bcause of akshay kumar child was being born and twinkle was delivering her baby they stopped taking and let akshay go to his wife and priyanka meet a dance teacher to getting better in dancing to do her songs ! Even i heard raju khan , saroj khan son , told her that u think u can act just bcause u r the miss world !! But fortunately she turned back good 😊🤩

I understand what jaby was trying to say when he pointed out how she looks pretty even without makeup but that's the whole problem, mainstream actresses are not only scared to do raw roles like that because they're afraid to show their ugly side but they also don't get taken seriously because of their "pretty face". That's the stereotype we need to get rid of in bollywood, people actually make fun of mainstream actresses for wanting to do more indie movies, saying they just want that indie cred. Maybe it's true for some but they generalize everyone and that's not right. Actors should be allowed to play the roles they want as long as they have the talent and are willing to commit.

She shared this incident that coz she's an asthmatic she went for some surgery to London and the doctor by mistakely cut her nose bridge and she was devastated and stuff and then they fixed it somehow but she said for her she was an. Entirely new person and when she returned India the media spread the news that she used knife and stuff if u will look carefully u can notice the difference her nose was bit better it was sharp and long this one is more like a button nose and especially in india buttons shape is not appreciated that much
