- VII Rebirth has tons of builds since the combat system is so in depth, so here are my favorite builds that I found so strong!

here's something fun, if you use yuffie with doppelganger. and cast it on top of arcane ward, both versions will case it, so you get 4 casts for the price of 1.
I been abusing doppelganger ganger since yuffie got that weapon ability.
Glad others are figuring out it's good.

@@Black_Leon009 doppelganger creates a copy of yuffie that does the same thing she does, so if you use a spell, that copy will also cast that same spell(for no extra mp cost).
arcane ward gives you double cast.
that means, you get yuffie with doppel on, on top of the ward, and then cast any spell, and she will cast it 2x, and the clone will also cast it 2x. giving you 4 casts of that spell, instead of 1 or 2.
have yet to test with magnified spells. so cant say if this setup works with that.
another cool strategy is using both chi trap + stardust ray. both will do a shitton of stagger if you get it on certain enemies(slow/big). also, you can use fire+ice materia with elemental, put that on cloud and give him enemy skill to get the electric buff(forgot its name), so each strike you do with him(or barret, or anyone really), deals all 3 elements all the time.
finally, another tip is to buff barret as much as you can, giving him a ton of hp up, to max it as much as possible, and use both steel skin and livesaver. give hm the pray materia and just let the AI control him, but without any auto atb use.
that way he can pray for massive full party healing, and tanking. you can also do that with chakra as well, since lifesaver makes him eat the damage the others take. but i like pray more in this case, since he becomes a "swap to him cast pray, go back to pummeling with tifa or someone else".
I don't know what's better: The content of the video itself or the helpful comments (minus the one salty player who must not be named) breaking down or giving additional pointers. Goated for sure!
Throwing in Aerith using synergy + comet materia is fun as hell.
The limit break loop is actually insane
These are some great builds. Thanks for doing this! Both Yuffie and Limit Siphon Aerith one are extremely broken. With Limit Siphon Aerith you can just infinitely spam Limit Breaks by using one character's Limit Break and Siphoning the other with Aerith over and over again. That's crazy.
How does it work? I don’t understand the steps you take to use limit siphon, could you elaborate
@@StephenOwen aerith needs level 3 limit (works best with improved expeditionary medal), because it gives full limit to the other party members, then you simply need to get someone to full limit and siphon with aerith and use her limit, then siphon one person's while the other uses theirs and repeat.

@@StephenOwen no problem, it works best I've found with Barret since he's tanky and you can use lifesaver and just run around until he gets beat up and has a full limit, also works well if you use cloud with a regular expeditionary medal so you can start with level 2 limit for him to spam, I beat the ruler of the outer worlds challenge with this setup
everyone says "break the game" and this and that, yet no matter how you "break the game" those Brutal/Legendary VR mission BS will never end up a walk in the park or anything near the definition of "breaking the game". 1-2 mistakes or bad RNG is all it takes to waste 30-40 minutes of your damn life.
The Yuffie one is insane! Absolutely destroys everything in sight. Fun video and will be a game changer for many.

Ultimate Shield/Tank Barret is one thing that’s overlook as well. Load him up with the best armor, HP Ups, Spirit Up, Provoke, etc.. Steelskin, Manawall, Lifesaver.. and then you do work with your other team members
The "free ATB" thing with yuffie could probably benefit from plasma discharge (enemy skill) on one of the teammembers. Basically free passive thunder damage
For Aerith Yuffie brumal ward, equip mp absorb with your -Ga spell, mp never run out😊
For the Tifa build, I recommend unfattered fury instead of unbrideled strength, because it makes her faster and you can farm a ton of atb by holding square doing the uppercut, letting go of square and instantly holding down square again.

Yuffie enemy skill + hp absorption is very fun. Plasma discharge goes off every time you fill one ATB which also heals you thanks to hp absorption. Very cool
For the first one, you should really use Radiant Ward as well. You get invulnerability while casting spells when you're standing in it. That way the boss doesn't interrupt your double cast lol.

yeah but it takes too long. magic late game in OG was waste of time. Always went with 4x-cut on cloud. faster way to kill lol.
Casting stop while in stagger phase is really good if they aren't immune to it 😉

Little tip Tifas Abilities from Unfettered Fury hits harder than Unbridled Strength
But they don't increase the stagger damage bonus by as much on staggered enemies
I used the Yuffie Brumal + Aerith ATB ward on all my Brutal challenges. My biggest tip is for Aerith to equip MP conversion, it helps a lot with MP management. The other char I have pray + healing carcanet and basically constantly heals the team. It’s probably the easiest broken build to pull off with not a lot of skill involved.
Can you please post the Materia for the Yuffie one? Or for any of them?
Or alternatively you can just use the HP-MP swap materia and give it to Tifa, also give the Enhanced Expeditionary Medal to Tifa. This will bring Tifa's HP to abysmal levels. Try to block attacks, if you can't even if you die, because your HP is so low, every fatal hit will fill your LIMIT gauge to max, then use revieve with other characters. You can have an instant max limit spamming tifa at your disposal.
Underrated gem for sure!
if u put spell + absorb mp in yuffie brumal build for dps casters u can have infinite spell cast =)

Dayum! Wreaking havoc
On the Yuffie infinite ATB build, use the Synergy Skill that grants infinite MP for a duration. You have enough ATB to build Synergy quickly. Fast Cast Double -Aga Spells for free.

if you have a second character with another quake+synergy and quake+hp absorption its pretty nutty
What if you cant use Arieth and Yuffie though... some of the bosses are red and barrett
For early game (cuz im pnly about 50% through the game. Use yuffie and Enemy skill materia. And use static shock.
Apply the statuc shock , then mug for your main attack, have bumal form and blind side as defense. (Blind side escapes bind moves). Use doppelganger and watch your ps5 start lagging because of all the particle effects.
this.. and then equip aerith with synergy meteor
A fun build that requires a tad bit of setup but pays off wonderfully. Tifa with enemy skill linked with HP absorb and then darkside. Make sure you have atb materia on too. Prep with Plasma discharge, then darkside, unbridled strength, then sonic boom. Then just normal Tifa stuff. You will do nuts damage and heal with every plasma discharge or enemy skill ability you use.
Need to use a second quake materia combined with mp absort, then you literally don't run out gas with the brumal atb ward quake combo
The Yuffie one is actually broken. She might be the strongest character because of her multiple abilities and able to attack from distance and create dopplegangers.
try doppel on arcane ward. you get basically 4 casts of the spell.

@@Heliosvector technically doppel is double, but better in every way, since it doesnt cost mp, and gives you double everything, not just cast.
and you can really pull some insanity with it.

Ability shortcuts
In addition to the elemental weakness genji ring with Aerith, use Wind/Mp Absorb Wind/HP absorb Wind/Swiftcast and Wind/Magic Efficiency. Its dumb af, i used it on cloud and best the Zack legendary mission in like 15 mins and im not thet good either
Any specific reason why wind in particular?
@@nik0_plays for that fight specifically, there's a lot of wind weaknesses the enemies have. Can probably do anything though

The crazy thing is the set up is such a good callback to the og game materia set ups where you use multiple copies and just go to town. Was that intentional or lucky coincidence

I find it weird that most people i watched play this game, don't use arcane ward. People think only Aerith is the only one that can utilize it.
Quakega is OP.
Yuffie / Barret / Aerith is by far the easy cheese build for all of brutal challengers. Setup properly and you will skate by them all (including the last) w/ absolute ease. The last one takes a bit more prep but same idea; I haven’t lost against that crazy fight since I refining it to make Barret the main / sole support role.. aerith just double casts while Yuffie does “nothing” but spam ATB charges at the party.
To much luck needed to beat the last. I m trying for more than 10h and not succeded. Timewaste
@@michaelaltenberger130 Nah, it’s more about knowing what each boss can do (the patterns) than anything else. The first few times I did this it was either Gilgamesh or Seph that just destroyed me and it didn’t feel like there was anything I could really do to change it. It wasn’t until I simply started to pay attention / learn what to expect that I have been able to complete this fight multiple times now. (Trying different builds based off this setup) there have even been a couple fights where one summon seems to focus target a single character and it has wiped me. There are a lot of mechanics at play but I guarantee you it’s not luck / RNG based. There is someone (perhaps more now) that can do this entire fight from start to finish with ONLY Cloud. No cheese strat, simply took the time to learn the move sets and goes to show how much it makes a difference.
@@jaysea838 if i want play like you say, i play soulsgames. But i want final gameplay. And most of the players are doing same, cause only 0,1% have done these challenges or do 100%.
First time in final history. and souls games are easier. No souls title with 0,1% platinum. So for a casual singleplayergame its to much luck and timewaste needed...
@@michaelaltenberger130 I’ve just done the rulers of the outer worlds using the Yuffie/barret/aerith build 4 times in the last hour with success.. it honestly has nothing to do with luck. I originally thought there was RNG involved (esp for Gilgamesh) but it’s just about your placement / knowing when to do an action. There is a video (released in the last 48 hours) w/ the build extremely similar to the one I have used numerous times now. But, to be fair, if you are not enjoying the challenge / gameplay then I totally understand y someone would choose not to spend their time doing it. That’s how I feel about the final legendary challenges at the moment.. Not knowing how to play Zack properly (which the game doesn’t really give you an opportunity to learn without being pummeled) makes it practically impossible. Once you get his quick charge down though, his braver is just as strong (if not stronger) than anyone’s LB. I will play around with it a bit more then maybe take a break.. it’s all I have left for plat and there is no reason to burn myself out over it. Take care!
@@jaysea838true, Gilgamesh are not about luck but knowing how to deal with every of his wide variety attack patterns.
As Virtual Sephiroth, he has very few attack pattern so if you could beat Gilgames consistently then training to block/dodge Virtual Sephy are easier to do.
You did need luck on virtual sephy 2nd elemental phase. But putting 2 different dps with armor elemental-fire&ice and elemental-lightning&wind will eliminate that luck factor. But you need to struggle a bit against kujata & phoenix.
As for how to play Zack, as someone who did a hardcore play aw Nero on DMC4 long time ago. It really took me short time to master how to use him lol.
You really need to learn how to do quick charge consistently if you want to beat it.
Question, how do you use the higher level limit breaks?
You have to increase the character's limit level during a battle

Anybody know how he gets clouds limit to charge so fast at the beggining of the fight (aerith limit build) i have to do quite a lot to get him to 100% after starting at 50%
Probably has the item that gives the character holding it 50% limit at the start of the fight.
I think some characters have nodes in their portfolio that increases limit bar when staggering foes. Maybe that's what he did

Cloud's Broken build is using Fire&Ice-Element, Enemy Materia - Plasma Discharge, Haste then have aerith do ATB ward +Radiant ward then watch cloud go on a rampage of Yellow explosions every time his atb fills
@@sanguinetales fr tho. Elemental + plasma + sonic boom buff + HP or MP absorb on Enemy Skill is outrageous. Melts through so many enemies.

Just a heads up, Yuffie’s Brumal Form does not proc ATB Assist (the Materia that gives allies an ATB Boost after using 2 commands)

If enhanced combos with materia don't qualify for being a build, then please clarify what would qualify and elaborate on what these are missing to be "builds"
