    This one and March On! Are commonly said to make you feel patriotic about a country that doesn't exist. Of course, Victoria.... Has a lot of issues from a geopolitical standpoint and more but you can really get how much the people love their Country/Homeland no matter what...

    IRELAND MENTIONED!
    This song is heavily inspired by traditional Irish music, and if you know your stuff you can hear instruments like fiddles (obviously), tin whistles, pretty sure there are even bodhráns in there too! I'm really glad that Arknights represents my country (and others) so well, it's great. Also Saileach's name actually means "willow" in Irish, and it's pronounced something like "sie-luck" but with a weird ck throaty sound.
    Oh and also! If you like Irish music, definitely check out Flame Shadow, it's not AS Irish as this but the influence is still there. It's a great song regardless, one of my favourites from Arknights.

      As an American i hate the whole "I'm actually __% etc." crap people pull here, but in my case my grandparents were very forward about their Dutch culture and taught me a lot. We do have very distant family names in the Scotland/Ireland area but its so far removed i don't count it as much. Part of me does wonder if that history played a part in how immediately comforted and interested i am by gaelic and celtic music. Something about it just felt... right

    It really is wonderful and impressive with how they're able to do so well in invoking emotion with many of their musical productions. Especially with attuning them to such characters & themes.

    Since you seem to really enjoy Victoria and Dublinn from Arknights, I'd suggest you to check out "Rekindle" and "Flame Shadow". As these both are songs related to characters from Victoria, and I'd imagine "Flame Shadow" in particular would be very much your liking.

  • @He4vener
    @He4vener Před rokem +11

    Continuing Victorian arc of Arknights (deffinently not story) music, suggesting you to react to:
    Rekindle (Siege theme who's apperantly "a queen in disguise"),
    Hometown Wind (Bagpipe theme who's one of Horns (Character from March On) squad members),
    Till the Bell Tolls (Archetto theme, not familiar who she's in Arknights world ('cause wasn't intrested) but she's Victorian too),
    Curtain Call (Phantom theme, doesn't appear in Victorian arc but he's also from Victoria),
    Flame Shadow (Reed the Flame Shadow theme who's one of big figures in Victoria/Dublin story arc along with her sister Eblana).
    And im not sorry for expanding your list once again :D

      Gaul is not a thing long time ago after The Battle of Four Emperors which happened at 1050s (current times are 1090-1100s) so there's low chance that Phantom even was born until Gaul was destroyed.

    Out of many songs I chose to play in my sister's car
    This is the one
    I like pyrite, I like awaken and Ebenholz's song
    I like under tides and space ost
    It just... nobody understands or like that kind of musics
    Some people can't even understand music without vocal speaking to them.

  • @Vertutame
    @Vertutame Před rokem

    Also the country of Victoria is... not that kind of pleasant to live in.
    They're heavily politic infighting for decades
    They killed their king and put his head on the pike and run around like french revolution even though he's a good and just king
    People just brew and stir shit up to take the power and the country was going downhill since.
    Saileach though... she's kinda nice person, kinda naive too actually.
    The song is probably what was in her mind before the war happened. "This is a nice country and I'm here to make everyone's life better and I will save everyone~"
    Because there's no happy emotion after that, it's a fight for survival, people were dying left and right, terrorism and such. She lost her friends and comrades that day in a one side fight.
    All they could do was run
    The story in this episode is so... grim. it's like everyone is dying left and right.
    People would fight to stall time for you to run and carry an injured person out from the open to hide.
    The people who came in were Brutal and powerful with unimaginable force so powerful that someone like her would never ever imagine something like this to happen suddenly.
    I hope she can still sing like this after this.
    On one side I want Victoria to win because people like her and the rest of the corp
    But I don't want to give the power to the duke and nobles to corrupt the country
    And seriously...I want to know what Theresa is thinking.
