For a character theme about a mentally insane shark nun slowly regaining consciousness /awakening, the wobbly voice is perfect.
was thinking the exact same thing, Shark's character and schizophrenic at times, softness while constantly having bursts of bloodlust.... thought the crique was on point.
Like damn, if he doesn't know anything about Under Tides then damn, he's nailed Spectre down to a tea just from her theme alone.
''Frantic'' - very fitting cos she's far from lacking in energy too.
@@CallousCyclone I think that's part of the beauty of the character themes from Arknights. They're not just songs slapped onto the character like a lot of media will do, but songs built around them. You can get a feel of who they are through their songs even if you don't know them, and if you do then they hit even harder.
Disney can have little mermaid, but here we are with deranged shark nun Hunter with whirglig Saw who hunt eldritch terror and i don't complain about it

Such wobbynes in her voice can be explained by the character for who this song is made, while undergoing some "not good" experiments and immense pain that came along that leaded to shattering her personality, which created individual called Specter, quite unstable i can assure you. And this song portrains moment when her real personality came back and became whole if i can call it so, hence why there is sudden shifts in her vocals in this song. And sorry 😔 i tried to make it as short as possible, but I'm not good enough¯\_(ツ)_/¯
"not good" experiments - as in ingesting an equivalent to a radioactive waste to that girl's lungs and doing whatever torture the Church of the Deep did to her to make her insane.
Don't worry, she's cured now. She's just "built different" *wink*.
btw the so called "not good experiment" is basically specter getting injected with a liquified Originium in her spine that could literally infect an entire city, just imagine cancer but contagious and as said before it could infect an entire city. So how did she survived? well in summary shes a supersoldier (Abyssal hunter) that can regenerate her body and its always fighting the liquidified rock cancer thats invading her body that made her insane
You should definitely listen to "Wlfmster" I'm surprised not many people suggested this one yet since you're a drummer, and this song goes crazy with the drums. Best boss battle theme in the game.

I usually listen to metal/rock but I learn a lot of different genres from Arknights. not only do they have actual good songs that represent each own genre, but there are also a lot of components mixing too from other genres
Adam Gubman never fail to deliver bangers. That guy ability to compose music is a whole another level.
Specter/Laurentina is such a tragic character. She went through so much shit, her entire existence is cruel (she is bred for war against eldritch horrors) and she was tortured into insanity... but she keeps clinging on and finding her way, slowly piecing together her fractured/insane mind, while also edging closer to her own doom while doing so because the Seaborn (the eldritch horrors) are subtly corrupting her psyche. So many layers.

Was very curious to this one, Awaken isn't one that would come to mind thinking about percussion work and such, so seeing your reaction made me want to focus on that during your video. Really enjoyed seeing you listen to this too, it's always great to see people enjoy the company's music they produce and hear their opinions on it!
