buddy i don't think that survey meant what you think it means. The next generation of workers are sick and tired of the 9-5 grind sure, but freelance doesn't solve this, it only creates many other headaches (health, dental, life insurance is the major in in the United States, paycheck consistency would be non-existent, and not to mention managing all the little bits of the finances that most businesses handle for you).
what few jobs are handed down to gen-z don't provide good benefits unlike the previous generations of Americans, so of course they would be displeased with the current state of the workforce! this does not mean we want zero job security, or lose collateralized health benefits as companies can afford better rates than individuals.
this seems like a bad direction for most Americans, especially young people.
I highly suggest anyone reading this to seriously read up on the financial and legal distinctions here, as they are worlds apart.
