How To Remove Tesla Cameras - Model 3 Y X

In this video we'll go over the process of removing cameras from Tesla front fenders. These can be little tricky to get out. After years of removing these Tesla cameras, here is the method we use weekly, and think works best. This how to video is for the Model 3, Y, and X.
Tesla Model S has one large clip that holds the camera in. Removal is vary similar and substantially easier.

So, no tape/adhesive to hold the side repeater/lamp in place but just clips?

Why would anyone want to remove them?

I remove them so I can install Paint Protection Film on the full fender without any visible edges around the cameras. In most cases, people should not ever need to remove them. 👍🏻

I removed and replaced mine because I have an older one and the blinker would blind the camera at night. Tesla wouldn’t replace them under warranty so I purchased the new models where the issue has been corrected through eBay. 5 minutes and done.
