- I just found the new Lightsaber Forge Inquisitor Masterworks set in stores but it's expensive! $67 so like over $70 after taxes. This new Lightsaber toy by Hasbro is the most expensive in this line. But is it worth it?

I was so bummed the Black Series Elite saber didn’t get funded. This looks kind of like how that one would have worked, just on a cheaper scale.
I confess that when "Rebels" came out, I wondered if they'd based the design for the Grand Inquisitor's lightsaber on the Grievous toy. I always thought the Grievous one was a motorized spinner though.
I was thinking more of the beam rotors from victory Gundam, works on the same principle.
I think it's a huge oversight on Hasbro's part to not have it be compatible with BladeBuilders lightsabers. I know BladeBuilders had been discontinued, but I think it would've been more appealing and drawn in more respect from fans if they made it compatible with the BladeBuilders lightsabers.
I'm kinda confused. I've read that the Forge is supposed to be compatible with BladeBuilders which I own a couple. I bought this on sale, my first Forge lightsabers and it doesn't connect with BladeBuilders. Is this the only, or a few, particular not compatible with BladeBuilders?
I swear when I think I have all the lightsaber Forge lightsabers they just make another one like I almost have all of them but I need Darth Vader's the non animatronic and Anakin's non animatronic and the Inquisitor oh and the Darth Maul non animatronic and they might make more
they're totally gonna make more. The non-electronic Maul and Anakin ones I didn't even know existed until today.
I just want a Qui Gon and I don't know if they have it
I've been having a hell of a time trying to find the non-electronic Maul one. At this point, if I find any I'm just going to buy as many as I can, just so I have spares.
There is a hidden feature in the saber if you hold the button while it’s powered on the sound one of course you will hear the spinning sound I just got one yesterday and I was impressed

@@Bananakin272 all you have to do is when the saber is on the one that has the sound hold the button when it’s on and boom
Try pressing and holding the activation button on the sleeve that makes sound.
I love this line so much. Gives me a way to get a custom saber without dropping 200+ for a single saber. Also side note these make awesome cat toys if you don't wanna buy a laser pointer.
14:50 It never showed that it spins it shows the flick to extend function like with the maul saber.
you can now make the shoto style shorter blade that ashoka and yoda use, i just hope that they make different blade colours for it

There was a bladebuilders inquisitor lightsaber that came out a few years ago that spins.
I managed to find and buy the new Anakin saber at a local Target. I honestly think i came out a lil ahead...In all honesty you are the Forge Master of Lightsaber Forge! Thanks for a wonderful review...thanks to you I have them all except the Inquisitor Masterworks. Have a good one!
There also was a blade builder sith warrior set, I don't exactly remember the name, which came out in like 2017-2019 and it also had thw same spinning feature that the Grievous one does. I even have it here in my room, bc it was worth buying. I think I bought it for just 30-40 euros. Way better for what you get compared to this inquisitor saber. The dual wielding 'configuration' sort of makes me think of the Tenth Brother from the comics who used two shoto blades rather than a double saber like the other Inquisitors.

Make as long of a saber as possible. But Don't do it inside because of space limitage.
I got that General Grievous rotating lightsaber as a kid, I still have it in fact. Seeing it in action I'd say it's a little too clumsy a feature which kid me never used much.
Dan-o I have a agree with you I give it a rad only because of the multiple combos you can make. But like you said barely a rad because of the price

The end cap on the darth mauls lightsaber is the obi wan lightsaber
I would say the cons is you can’t take off the emitter without taking off the rings. It was a pain to take the rings off and on. I’m afraid it might break off at some point
Making it spin would almost certainly mean it wouldn’t be able to split in two the way it’s supposed to. I see a way it could work but it would become way more expensive than it already is.
If you put two caps with a blade on each one, on a middle piece, you could make a little double saber.

I think the issue is that the lightsaber forge's inquisitor saber made the mistake of making the ring detachable: bladebuilders did the same thing as the Grievous spinning saber set, and that was the first tie-in to the inquisitors. I think the lightsaber forge's inquisitor set is more for cosplay purposes - Maul used a deformed inquisitor's saber in Rebels, and Kenobi featured an inquisitor's saber split in two. It's my issue with Darksaber toys that exist (and that's not even mentioning how bladebuilders didn't even bother); there is no Darksaber toy with a fully retractable blade, because then it wouldn't glow or make sounds.

Love this quality informative video thanks. You reviewed the 'Favourite' outta this saber. Trying all the other bits and other sabers together was cool to see and I have never thought about getting these sabers (as I prefer the collector, Hasbro, Legacy sabers), but I am now considering getting this one............on sale tho - lol and seen as the Haslab Sisters saber isn't happening now too :( Love your work- Saber Master Dan-O!!!! I think Yongus should have added his thoughts on it too though? lol
I mean I wouldn’t fly with the darn thing but it should spin it should definitely spin I know quality and looks and all but I wouldn’t pay for that lightsaber that doesn’t spin

I think those directions are showing how to flick the lightsaber blade to come out and then how to put them back in. However it does seem lame that it doesn't spin due to the building gimmick.
You can actually have the sound of the spining blade. just hold the activation button and you can hear the sound

I just found this today in a winners for 29.99 CAD (about 22 USD) and im pretty satisfied with that price point but for the orignal like 80$ CAD no way. Its most valuable selling point is that its basically the cheapest if not the only inquistor lightsaber toy out there

In my opinion i actually don’t hate this. This lightsaber is pretty for what your paying for and what I love of these lightsabers is that your get shorter blades which I’m so happy about 😅. And is a quick release saber like cal kestis where you go from double bladed to dual wielding and back to double which I love that so I give this a 10/10

The reason why one part is together is because when you are using just one lightsaber part is the show that inquisitors only use one part when they are using single bladed lightsabers

the blade builders version did spin but it was janky and only spun in one direction plus the handle was too small for an adult

I got the lightsaber I love the Inquisitor lightsaber because there lightsaber is it's so fricking cool my parents think it's cool and my whole body says it's cool
For how much this was the fact it doesn't spin and only one side separates is a tragedy. Got mine from Amazon on clearance and glad I didn't buy 2 like I did with the maul one.

OH MY GOODNESS, I'm so lucky because I just got this toy at target and it was only 44$! I thought it was expensive because I didn't watch this video before the toy came out and boy I'm lucky. I'm not saying I'm better than you it's just a saying that I'm so grateful and lick just happened if you took that wrong.

This is my opinion. It would’ve been cooler if all of the ring quarters could retract and taken apart too like the other two ring bits. Then it would’ve been more accurate if you’re role playing and/or re-enacting the final battle scene of Kanan Jarrus Vs. Grand Inquisitor

They added electronic general grievous lightsabers. 2 green, 2 blue, first lightsaber forge toy to have transparent green. They would have Jedi symbols with scratch markings. Dan o if your reading this, heres my idea.

Nobody. It’s not supposed to be a replica on anyone specific. It doesn’t belong to anyone. This line of toys isn’t replicas it’s mix and match pieces based on character designs. The inquisitors, whose sabers were possibly inspired by the grievous lightsaber toy from many years before they were introduced are the inspiration for the design.
