Great video man. I know many players with max YSG and no legit pairing. For these players Boudica is a much better investment than Nevsky. And you can keep her 5551 while you work on others. It’s all about what are you replacing when you make these choices. That’s why I am advocating Boudica prime as a key investment for most players.

Nevsky/mehmed is excellent. Tbh nevsky is just the best commander in the game and I don't think it's close, do not skip him.
I wish lillith gives every governors at least 2 commander reset item which can be used on old commanders to get back gold heads that were used on them. 😅

As f2p if i get to start from beginning i might never invest in any pre SOC coms and save all my heads. I may only join rallies and garrison and avoid field fighting as i won't have T5 tech before SOC. I will start investing my head only for SOC coms.
That’s a good strategy, although I think many players don’t wanna wait like 9 months to start investing 🤣
You need atleaat 2 years of frequent playing to get maxed up legendary commanders
This is the optimal strategy, and I salute your patience if you do manage to stick to this! But as F2P you must max YSG to barb chain, or that is very painstaking to perform.
Get Alex to 5,5,1,1. You’ll have fun with him for kvk 2 and 3. He is also usable for soc. Rumours are that he is getting a museum buff soon👀

Again I will say Harold and the Mayan Commander is the tankiest march on the game it's nothing to get 30 million kills at the end of a kvk I don't know why more channels are talking about this
I wasn't that active during my 6-10 months, so my YSG and Rick are both 5411.
But, I maxed GY, Scip and Alex... and now finishing Martel (5523).
Will go back to Leo (which is 5511) after finishing Martel. I don't know, but I get better trades with Martel than Leo.
Don't invest any more in Leo. He's good for canyon but otherwise trash now. And even before you only wanted him 5511 anyway so you've already got the best value out of him.
Also don't invest in CM he's gold key, and 5523 is fine for open field.
I'm personally use Guan Alex and CM Scipio as my 2 inf marches.
My CM is now 5535 but I used him when he was in a similar position to yours too.
Max Martel is very nice. I maxed him and wouldn't change my decision (during kvk 4 - he was closest to max and I needed a comm I could trust would last...watch, the next infa release will replace him. Haha)
But with your current line up, there are likely better damage options like Boudicca or Nev. Even wait for new Joan Prime.
Leo is done at 5511.
and here I am at Season 3 preparation time, I haven't even expertised my YSG , lmao. Good guide though, really made me think again on Alexander.

For me I wish I made harald much earlier. Nevsky is a must for a setup.
I don’t think boudica is f2p friendly as beng real all archers are targeted and are squishy irrelevant if there defence. As long as xy and nevsky are on the field all archers get destroyed.
I skipped boudica as was I’m unimpressed with her nuffs, Boudica/Ysg is to slow and how she is targeted.
For me all F2P should have nevsky/William and harald/alex in there marches. Harald is so versatile he can pair with all infantry and gets the most kills.
Joan Prime is coming really soon, so probably best idea to hold on to your sculptures after getting Scipio to 5551. That's usable with expertized Alex. Wait to see how Joan/Nevsky work.
Yeah better to keep the sculptures from not investing in Richard and using them for some of this crazy commanders coming to the game...

Thanks for a wonderful video, I maxed XY, Nevsky,Guan,Scipio and William plus all the second generation commanders but I have skipped Boudica. I don't have the gear for archers, do you think I should work on Boudica still?

I made a mistake and started working on Ramses before Scipio and Boudica came out. He is at 5551. Should I still switch over and work on Boudica after Scipio ?

Imma say it. Alex isn't worth investing in anymore for f2ps. Those hyperactive f2ps you talk about barely exist and I think I'd would be a blunder to put universals into him. It's gonna suck in kvk2 & 3 but it's worth it in the long run. Especially if you get unlucky and get the Alex wheel late in kvk2 (happened to me). But also I am a degenerate who put over 400 universals into Charles and mehmed (i am not f2p). Agree with almost all of your advice !
Nevsky Saladin rocks an Saladin is good to go with 5-5-5-1

I am confused, 7 month FTP player. My Scipio Africanus is nothing like yours. leadership conquering and attack, not infantry. I have him 5 5 5 5 because I didn’t know what I was doing is this a complete waste of time. Thanks for any advice

The best F2P commander is dont get teageted first in the murder ball I have found for archer commander Thutmose is the best I just expertised mine as 92% F2P I am absolutely loving my repots and I am a t4 player I have had some fantastic exchanges against the common kvk 3 commanders alex trajan ysg etc Thutmose is a hard counter to richard and alex
I've been keeping my eyes out for people using him. He looks very strong to me. Could go after both Martel and Richard.
@@rachaelkp I've found with the healing reduction plus the pric damage on top of his ult damage trades incredibly well against the healing marches him and YSG as his secondary is just nasty its like poison for Richard and martel and Alex as well
@@redluke8119 I think he's a bit underated and could do some nice work behind Boudicca, as well. I'm not putting any unis into any comms but latest gen, buuut I did make some questionable choices fully aware that others would cringe. Lol. Like expertising Mehmed as a low spender. He's incredibly versatile and I can stick him behind any latest gen comms to put the hurt on people while developing my others pairs. I'm a mess with more than 3 marches on the field, anyway.

Is this video only for Infantry/archer marches? I was gonna go cavalry, currently in pre-kvk1 and new to the game. I was thinking saladin was a good pick, and my next would be attila/nevsky/william (not sure when they come). Do u think that's viable and not going for the infantry ones?
That’s a viable choice, but I think guan/scipio is a better march for open field than Nevsky/Saladin/William/Attila

I expertised nevsty and using him with cc if I want attack or saladin if I want a heavy tank +dps. Nevstky is just working wonders for me. Even my cc 5255 works superb with him and I think mehmed will also do the job. So I choose nevstky and scipio p. For my mega pairs and well i guess I have to think something for my ysg.
Btw will the new leadership commanders come or not?

I was between nevsky Boudicca, since I already got more cavalry equipments I decided to go for nevsky first. Im also afraid about Boudicca debuff since it gets better the more marches you have but I’m just going to have 2 early on.
My "G" I got an idea for a new video for you should do a feature on only AOE commanders only, rating from worst to best that will be awesome...🗡️💀🛡️.... Haven't seen anyone do a video like that yet.... For both legendary and epic.

Infantry is best for f2p so that’s what I’d recommend in general
I expertised my YSG and got my alex to 5511 long ago but couldnot finish him bef soc now i got my guan to 5111 and am spending all my heads on scipio should i consider finishing alex later or just leave him at 5511?

Cesar is bad, cleo is only good for farming.

Man i love your videos, im 40ish days deep and im at almost 6 mil power and ive no idea what to do i get wrecked sometimes in the open field i got sun tzu on the way to expertise soon cuz i was dumb to start with Rome 😃 i got fked on the richard wheel and blew 20k gems to only make him 3111 and for some reason gold chests hate me and i cant pull charles so he is a solid 1111 i got like 60-70 gold heads WHAT DO I DO
Hahaha you’ve got a long way to go, just stay patient and avoid field fighting for now because it’s using your resources that you’ll need for later wall and city hall upgrades
Omni, as a f2p inf focused account, i have Guan 5/2/5/2 , Leo 5/5/1/1 , Alex expertise, Scipio 5/5/3/1 , Constantine 5/5/1/1 and Martel 5/5/4/3 .. my plan is to expertise Scipio and Guan ..after that, should i invest on Harald? Or wait for a new commander maybe?
personally you shoud invest in Harald. The only èroblem is that you need to make him 5-5-5-5 to make it work
Ive been playing about 8 months am f2p and am only at a 5525 ysg and just finished season 2. I probably wont have him finished until SOC. Do I still go with scipio? (I did put 18 uni sculps into mulan before I started watching yt videos)
Better than me I invested maybe 300 universals into Mulan before realizing its impossible. My YSG is 5511 I didnt start investing in him until KvK 3.

With dailies, shouldn't take too too long - also assuming your VIP is 14/15 for 3 daily sculpts, if you are spending.
Sorry but... NO, do not invest in Richard! Check even the rest of the video how many times he will go into some of the future pairs... its just something what you don't need later (barbs ,come on... f2p u don't want to invest legendary sculptures into a barbs hunt... with the rest of commanders u get for free etc ) his type is just countered pretty well from the new commanders late game. F2p need to invest in something with longer life... better to invest the saved sculptures from not spending in Richard for Saladin ,who may get and prob. will get Relic after some time and u will have at least one cav. commander who, can be paired with Nevsky (even if u have better commanders in the game to pair with him ,its a good start while you work on a combo for Nevsky, cuz you want to have him for sure) and is top commander early game too, everyone will enjoy the game having him... This is much better then investing in Richard, who will sit in ur city most of the time... Having Alex and YSG + eventually Saladin for me is the best start in RoK for f2p. Still giving u a like Omniarch ,all u said for the rest of the commanders its really a good way to go later. Love your videos ,keep making them❣

He’s a good overall investment I use him a lot in SOC

F2P should never focus on 1 troop type, I made that mistake. You run out of troops so quickly and then only have troops left that you don't have commanders/gear for.
Aim to have one legit march for each troop type and then decide where or if you want to focus.
I'm personally using 2 inf, 2 cav and 1 archer march as my murderball now.
I'm 97 percent archer it's worked out OK for me but I totally understand what your saying honestly f2p are most effective as support marches and filling rallies I've found as a f2p my most value comes from filling rallies and that just requires bodies commanders don't matter then and I really love running Joan as a secondary commander as f2p because you add a ton of value to the entire field around your March with like a Richard main commander

Free barbarian chaining will earn you more gems and resources in the long run than you spend on Richard, especially in SoC or marauders

Really couldn't disagree anymore with any Nevsky Saladin combo, I found it was very underwhelming. Did much better with Nevsky & 5511 Mehmed. I know it's a f2p guide but Saladin Nevsky is so meh.

@@bannozz William 5551 (will be an investments that you perhaps don't want), you can possibly go for a combo with Cao Cao 5151 + relic he could be decent to be secondary. If you are a low spender you can do things with a Mina 5411/5511+relic or just do like Omni said with your 5511 mehmet/exp ysg+ relic, that's always a reliable and easily to get Sala combo if you don't use him for any inf march. Even Æthelflæd could work.

@@bannozz well try to go for 5515 Nevsky then since his 3th skill is no big deal.
I don't prefer Saladin Nevsky that much but it isn't a bad option to use, you can go for him if you want and perhaps later on (if you finished your inf marches) upgrade the march to a exp nevsky with a william 5551 secondary.

Skip RoK and go play call of dragons. In RoK u will always be outclassed by players migrating in after kvk 2. Your account will be like 2 years behind them. Better go for a new game.
