I m glad that I watched this. Hubby just got back from a work trip and had purchased this jacket a week ago. Wanted to wash it but didn’t know if it would work after. I m glad that it will 😊 ty
Thank you, just bought one yesterday and love it, glad I can keep it clean as well and safely
Thank you for the video brother😎 mine is due for a wash & this puts my kind at ease👍
Very helpful, i have the same jacket. Thank you.
I Thank you aeiso
Thanks for doing the temp gun test lol I️ was expecting more from mine so the first thing I️ did was scan it too😂 my temps were the exact same around 76° on coils
Had one for 4 years and it's still going. I don't wash it daily and sometimes I don't even wash it weekly it just depends. But I have had no problems to this point.
Glad to hear, and I thank you for viewing
Nice, how long is the warranty from milwaukee? Same as with there other tools?
These hoodies ain’t cheap but I just bought mine. Thank for the vid
Thank you so much, I was worried to wash mine haha

Do you think this should be the same outcome for toughshell?😅
Thank you
I thank you sir
Cool thanks for this vid atleast my milwaukee jacket is safe to wash
yes they are, I did do a video on that as well
Also a thermal camera would have given a better visual of the heating coils working.
Ill have to pick one of those up and thank you
The owners manual says take out the control thing on or inside and zip it up do i need to take anything off scared to wash a 200 dollar jacket with wires😢
I would probably just hang/line/lay-flat dry to reduce "wear and tear" (even if Milwaukee says that it's okay to tumble dry).
that would work as well. thank you for viewing :)
Man Caver Tools I do low power dry for 10 minutes then air dry and dryer for 20 minutes then hang dry for two nights with all pockets unzipped and open I found if you don’t do the low temperature dry and air tumble dry it does get a slight mildew wetness smell
Thxs
I thank you sir
Is it still holding up after a year
Wen its washed multiple times?
Had mine over a year and washed many times, still works
What size is your vcg construction hoodie?
Jared Quick medium
What size do you wear in these hoodies? Are they made big?
I have to buy one and see what fits me. lost weight since last winter
How much time can it run on that battery. Does it have a low , medium , high button ? 😎👍
Yes approximately 2hrs. on high, 4hrs. on medium, and 6 on low. I use the 1.5's and the run time is close to that. I would expect a little more time from the 2 and cp 3.
with a 2ah battery. about 2 hours on high. and 6 hours on low
It does have a mid low and high is like 3hrs on H 6hrs in Med
On low is about 12hrs
I have a question. It says to remove battery and controller. How you remove the controller??? Thanks
Is the controller the red casing?
there isnt a controller with any of these heated Gear
@@ManCaverTools thanks for the reply. I just ended up taking a towel and just wiping it clean. Wasn’t that dirty yet. 😂. Did find the manufacture manual online last night. The red casing the battery goes into is called the controller. Which confused me as I assumed the controller is the button that turns it on. Thanks.
@@DragonJin78 ha...I've been trying to figure out the same. I thought I was going to have to remove the entire heating element to access the "controller" somehow. It's been in my dirty laundry basket for a couple months, now, but I need it since it's been colder.
I've had one for about two years and it has been fine.
glad to hear that :)
Do it with mine all time it seems fine
once I get the m12 version I will :)
I love my jacket. I wish it had a fuel gauge for the battery.
I love mine as well and thank you sir
The adapter shows the level of the battery
Sean Anderson Mine doesn’t
@@DamionJR4923 is it broken. The red adapter has a button on the top that should show 3 bars
Sean Anderson Yup no button. No Battery indicator. Look up Gen 1 adapters.
Naaahh km taking it to the dry cleaners
