yeah that's what i hate about television shows, you finally find a nice show but you end up watching it in like 2 days and you have to wait for a whole year for the next season...i know you gotta wait for them to make it but I'd rather they just take more risk and finish shooting a whole two seasons atleast and then release it in a span of 2 months

what are you talking about? it is literally rated 96% on rotten tomatoes. that "underrated" phrase is actually overused.
if i had to give a reason why it might not be getting the buzz...its the fuckin name...Ozark....I know it sort of put me off..maybe subconsciously even..i watched and loved the Outsider..so it was just natural to give Ozark a go...watched 3 seasons in 6 days

It was at the time it came out, but now people are raving all about it and I always see it on Netflix's top 10 now.

I know, that's where I'm at with my experience. I'm seeking out movies that Ruth (Julia Garner) plays in. She is a WOW factor to this show. Does anyone know how many times this show drops the "F" bomb! Like 12,000 maybe, ha ha. And makes you laugh every time!

I watched the first season in a day. Watched the second season in half a day. I’ve always liked Jason Bateman ever since Valerie and Teen Wolf 2 He’s great in Ozark it grabbed me by the balls and kept my eyes glued to the screen. From the first couple minutes to the last couple minutes it’s gripping, very well written and so entertaining

Just finished season 3 and have to say Laura Linney is really starting to shine in this show.
I’ve known that Jason Bateman was a good actor for years but could never remember his name! Just awful of me. Since watching Ozark I’ve come to find out how great an actor and director he is. The show is incredibly intriguing & the surprises come from all directions. Thanks to Jason for bringing together an amazing cast.
Outstanding series! Dark and intense but totally addictive. Well crafted, wonderfully written, performed by excellent thespians through & through! Unexpected outcomes at every turn. Simply cannot wait for the next season!

Alan Martin not quite on the level of breaking bad... doesn't have that much depth of the characters
Daria Holzer gotta give it time. Breaking bads character development was extremely slow. It was the directing that was groundbreaking. The story unfolded in a very similar way to Ozarks. We will see. You arent necessarily wrong.
Cory bob I think they actually spiraled forward the stoyline and many outcomes were foreseeable...Breaking bad took it's time to show the development of the characters and that's why I think it's got more depth...
It was definitely better than the first season of Breaking Bad. I felt like it had the intensity of the fourth and fifth seasons without feeling out of place.

You know what's great, that even when Jason speaks or talks to other people it's like he is still acting LOL. Either he just plays himself while acting or he is just forever stuck in character. I just think that's cool

Ozark is a really good show and it's true that Jason is excellent in it. When I first heard about it I thought "but this is going to be like a comedy" given that he's been doing comedies. But I was so wrong.

I absolutely love Laura Linney and Jason Bateman. Jason blew me away with his more dramatic role and Laura as always just really melted into her character. Just finished season 3 yesterday and I miss it already! Also, the interviewer was great!
The ability to effectively create slowly escalating pulse-pounding tension over 3 seasons gives you an idea of just how talented these actors are. To say that the entire cast has nailed the acting along with Bateman’s direction would be an understatement. Ozark deserves every award I can think of.

The great thing about this show is that the stress level never relaxes. About the time you think there’s room to breathe, the next crises presents itself. I can only imagine this is what it would your life would really be like under the pressure of laundering money for a drug cartel. The entire cast is excellent.
