Where was this guy when I started driveing? The lack of people like him are the reason I bought my own truck. This is the most awsome place I've ever seen. Thank you so much for introducing us to such a down to earth gentleman as Mitchell. Thanks for all you do.
My husband has worked for Bottomley in the past and they are a great family owned trucking business. They care about their drivers and treat them just like family.

Well Mitchell I wish I met you about 45 years ago I’ve been trucking now for 55 years and over I had over 4,000,000 miles on my bill when I retired in 2011 what is a trucking company in as a businessman you’re doing one hell of a great job and you’re right I’m treated people good your people do right by you To y’all and I hope you shake your head at the truck show this year 2022 in most people call me Beercan God bless y’all and your families🇺🇸

Mr.Bottomley you have one of the top of the line company, your attitude is the best i ever heard from a owner, more company owners should have your attitude. I was working for a company for 10 years and they where all for them selves i was fired for being sick, couldnt talk so communicated by text message that my blood pressure was way to high to continue to work for a couple of weeks, the owner called me a liar and didn't believe. So Thank you for who you are and how you treat your employees.
In my 28 years of trucking this is the best I have seen if I wasn't retired you would have me as a driver, the only thing I have heard that I don't like is running teams that much time in a small space both people have to click perfectly and that is hard to find.
All I can ask is PLEASE as you do grow keep the mindset that you have and DON'T TURN INTO SWIFT, PRIME, HUNT ENGLAND ETC,ETC,ETC at one time prime was a good company with the same mindset they changed and have a bad turn over rate bad drivers more wrecked trucks and just an all around bad company keep it real treat the drivers right and pay them for what they are worth and you couldn't run drivers off
he would be an awesome person to work with seems like just a really nice guy!!!

What an amazing video guys. He is quite a role model. Reminds me of several owners of heavy haul and construction companies i know. Wish I could come down there but that weekend I'll be at Gerhart s in litiiz pa. Also expecting about 200 trucks. Like Tommy said, the guys in this business are the friendliest fellas you'll meet. That shop is off the charts.

I can tell you one thing Bottomly and Mayberry Chrome Shop their truck show is going to be the one to be out within the next five years. It’s gonna be like Matt or 75 pro shop show if not way better.

Awesome facility and top notch equipment! To drive and work for this company you gotta be the type of person who cares about and for the equipment that’s given to you and that you’re working on. I’d like to know how the change their tires without scratching or damaging the wheels? We all know the common method of changing tires.

Just saw two of their trucks today on I40. Looks like an great company to work for. If they hire for solo drivers I’d be interested. There’s no way I’d team drive!
They have regional hauls. I'm sure they are solo.
Mitchell Bottomly is really boring with a big auger, and he seems like a good old country boy, who likes nice trucks, along with John Deere's, much like myself.
Bottomly has been growing Christmas Trees, Pumpkins, Corn, and i don't know what all else here in Wythe County VA, on land that he leases, for quite a few years now.
I wish him the best of luck, because the world is a better place with self-made men such as himself.

What do I think? I think that if I grew up THERE instead of Oregon, my life would be much better (for many good reasons). Mr. Bottomley seems to be a VERY good person. He is well thought out, has a vision, sticks to it, and treats people every bit as much as they deserve. His facility is second to none. In Oregon, you will 110% NOT find anything done that well. Everything here is political, and money minded. Not people minded like Mr. Bottomley seems to be.
What would I change in Mr. Bottomley's facility? 1) paint booth, 2) body shop, 3) the main mechanical bay I personally would have installed a bay pit (like you see in places like jiffy lube, etc), 4) interior/electronics shop section ( I am an everything minded analytical genius type. I do not like not having access to something. So, in my thinking and designs, I incorporate literally everything if I can conceive of a way to do so).
The main points of my interest that I specifically like about Mr. Bottomley's facility? 1) wash bay, 2) overhead crane design, 3) the forward thinking of fuel and fluids both in the shop bays as well as in the wash bay, 4) the wheel polisher, 5) MY FAVORITE : the under truck custom washer. ingenious...
Also.. ONE complaint... You guys didn't show the upstairs of the building! so (jokingly) disappointed in you.

BEEN INVOLVED WITH TRUCKS MY WHOLE LIFE, I'D WORK THERE FOR FOOD...........PS 78 YEARS OLD.
I hear them say that they run team drivers but do they have solo drivers Positions available also I've been trucking for 25 years and I am not one for team running. I would rather run solo And I don't mind putting in the miles to make the company money and to also make myself money... I'm single so I don't mind staying out there and getting the job done... I also seen that the yellow Pete was an Automatic, no offense but I'm old school I need a truck with either a 15 speed or a 18 speed. Do they have any there at that company ?
