Rethwisch Transport drops $1.5 Million on custom trucks and they are AWESOME!

- Rethwisch Transport bought 10 trucks and we are helping them get these things ready for the road. This is a big order, and a tight timeline so they brought down the whole family and crew from the shop to help us get them knocked out.
SEMI Casual is a channel created by Tommy Fitzgerald and Brian Bourke to give people a little entertainment and a kinda behind the scenes look into the Custom Big Rigs we are building for the dealerships “Fitzgerald Peterbilt”. We love big trucks and pretty much anything automotive related so you will find the occasional car or racing shenanigans here too!

I see Rethwisch trucks every day in Menomonee Falls almost every day. They always bring a smile to your face. But these trucks are going down the road in all weather making a living. A class act.

I painted the inside of drop visor in 2007 and behind front bumper and people gave me shit about it I’ve always liked that effect. Inside front bumper is cool to cause they always rust

Very nice, you should paint the inside of the bumpers, they will rust, a cheap but nice addition to keep them nice!👍😁
These bumpers are chrome over Stainless, so they will hold up pretty well.

All our tucks are basic. Ok we pull 3x 45 foot long trailers from time to time up to 110 ton of truck and trailers but we have to drive a truck like a 904 or a K200 big cab can't go longer than that

Great work guy's that's a large order love the trucks my brother is a Pete man myself I'm a Bulldog man and yes he calls me Azz backwards lol but it's OK cause me being his little brother i bought him his first Pete Cabover in the late eighties so we love to trash talk one another and thinking about the last trucks we will ever buy will be some 320" wb Pete's mine a teal green with a sunburst orange frame and stripe and his a blue velvet with a black frame and stripe we figure why not trucking has been good to us.

With the weed burner exhaust is the structure for the dynaflex exhaust still there? Can you show some pictures of the exhaust system?
The Dynaflex exhaust is not hooked up to the trucks actual exhaust system. Essentially the 7in stacks are just for looks as the stock exhaust is untouched.

Y’all should have upgraded from the factory peterbilt bumper brackets while you were making them. Those factory style ones are next to useless for strength.
With all the custom brains that are in this country. You would think someone by now would have come up with a solution to not waste money on putting up dummy stacks.

Dam , wonder what these guys are hauling to be able to afford these trucks , I owned trucks back in the day , it's a cut throut business ,, they want be doing this long , unless there hauling for a family owned company and don't haft to worry about making it work

Is it cheaper to order a truck from the factory without cab lights and front bumper and then add it on?
In some cases yes, He wanted 9 lights on the cab, the only way to do that is to put them on after they are built because the factory only offers 5 lights and the spacing would be wrong if you wanted to add 4 more. Plus we used the United Pacific lights which are not offered by the factory.

If those are (true) emission trucks, how did you get them with the normal step on passenger side????
The exhaust system is a grass burner setup, which puts the DPF further under the truck allowing for room to use a traditional box on the passenger side.
