This game was like alive in the way of a skill gap. It was hard to pick up and took a lot of time to be decent at it. Things you said were missing, are in the game but you wouldn’t know that from a outside perspective. Not a bad game, just a time consuming one.

I’m gonna be as nice as I can when I say this cuz I really love your channel but… this video is a perfect example of how new games have spoiled the playerbase.. you had no grasp on the cornering when it’s actually really fast.. you didn’t like the preload even though that was part of the learning curve.. on top of that it was really obvious you didn’t play too much alive either as this game is much more polished than alive ever was… you were right about the scrubbing (the whips in this game are probably among the best in any mx game and I have HOURS of clips to prove it). Also you should have played it more and learned more before judging it sooo harshly. This game is meant to be played in 3rd person with manual transmission yet you liked 1st person with automatic. I can see how you would hate the game so much considering the fact you didn’t have anything setup correctly. This game is leagues above the games people are playing now in terms of air physics and graphics aren’t as bad as you were saying…
I agree if you are trying to take the game for what it is, but I think fries and some others are really looking for physics over anything else, and when we focus on that over the game, the game itself becomes horrible in every other aspect :\
It might be due to Rainbow studio starting from 200 devs to something around like 7-10. I honestly think it's quiet a feat to have done a game with really few ressources. It's like when you say "this game has a preload system, it shows how old it is" but every MvA games had preload except Reflex. Some arguments kinda falls flat and make your points look weird.

Encore requires you to max preload along with throttle in order to stay competitive, to a ridiculous degree. The use of a scrub is almost nonexistent, because of the amount of distance and height given by the preload. It's unnecessarily overdone in this game, and I do feel as though the majority of the community agrees on that. Reflex can be ran full throttle, but you can't get away with preloading every quad within the game.

I hate the direction MX vs ATV games have taken. Even though I raced Motocross I favorite the ATV offroad fury series. I wish they were focus more on the Nationals and adventure style and actually balance out the bikes quads and whatever the hell else they want to add. Instead of it being a dirt bike game with other stuff added. This game was around where the change started happening.
The physics of this game is what brings it down in my opinion, when you get everything maxed and play online it’s somewhat bearable. But the stiffness and crappy air physics bring it down. The graphics and first person look pretty good, I remember like supercross because of the texturing detail in the tracks, it looks GOOD. Only thing I like about supercross is everything but the physics lmao. I love the texture detail it looks really nice. I have some videos on my channel, I have one of me playing a 1v1 online using the husky bike. When maxed the game isn’t terrible but the physics still fcking suck, id rather play all out/legends than this but I’d also rather play this over alive. Alive and supercross to me we’re both middle of the road for me. I didn’t like either one in terms of the physics. They both felt incomplete, supercross ripping a few maps from alive and alive not having supercross in the base game and selling it as DLC, no freestyle or anything. Both of these games felt really empty when compared to the older games and all out/legends.
You need to put it in manual shift and use the hugest gear right away with massive clutch boost and just ride the outsides of every berm go watch darkspy play this game

I miss the days of preloading, but only if it's responsive like in ATV Offroad Fury 2. ATV Offroad Fury 2 is my favorite moto game of all time.
