You have to turn automatic clutch on so it never stalls. Also, the bike that come with the game are garbo. Get the OEM bikes pack, it features all of the IRL bike brands and their models. This games learning curve is not steep at all, just gotta dial in the right controller settings so you don't tip over all the time. Plus you have to get a feel for the way the bike handles so you know when to and when not to be on the gas. Start on the easiest track that comes with the game, Forest Raceway. I've made videos on my second channel @BuzzMXB that shows you how to install the OEM bike pack and also various mods to make your playing experience more personalized.
Bro, everyone else makes this game look so easy. No offense but I think that you playing it truly puts how difficult this game is into perspective. Love the content bud!
I’d definitely like to see you play this more. As far as setups just lower your fuel a little and increase the grip in the rear. You might wanna try starting off on a 250, they are a little easier to handle.
Took me about 15 hours before I actually did a race just because I genuinely had fun putting down laps by myself. Also yeah 3rd person is NOT the move. lol You want the dynamic cam. Forest is my go-to track for practicing and chilling out. Keep going!
When folks ask for MX vs ATV to be more like MX Bikes, this video encapsulates why we're so hesitant to move the game too far in that direction. I loooooooove watching good players play MX Bikes, because it looks flowy, and realistic, with enough fantasy element to keep it fresh and different than just watching regular moto vids. The issue is that the skill gap for beginners is absolutely massive - which would have a drastic effect on MX vs ATV's ability to capture casual fans, and pull them into moto gaming from elsewhere. All that being said, it was fun watching you ride around, while learning!
Also, because nowadays EVERYTHING's gotta be a sim, missing the idea that some people just don't want to have a second job learning to drive in a videogame.
Dude, i have never played mx vs atv reflex when i was a kid, but thanks to your videos im now installing it. U gotta give more chance to mx bikes, its my main mx game and when u dominate its awesome
I get that you have to play it a lot to have fun and you don't have the time or you don't want to, maybe just another video or two if you want, because I really enjoy mx bikes and you so seeing you playing it is pretty cool actually
I have 340 hours in the game and I'm making the pro races now. I think around 100 hours you'll start being able to do laps you just have to play regularly. Enjoyed the vid 🤙
You can easily make it around a track after 15 hours if you get the controller settings right. If it took you 100 hours, you didn't do much work to the settings then.
This game is very difficult and it’s a commitment. It’s like if you want to get good at this game then it should be the only game you play for a while lol
lmao i remember my 1st 20 hours were painful but after watchings a few settings video im ok 250 hours later i can grind and have fun but yea itsa grind Fest but so worth it
1st mistake is riding stock bikes and second mistake is riding 3rd person. Set up your dynamic 1st person view. 3rd mistake is not setting up your own inputs and controls. Understandably it's very difficult to start with. Takes more than few hours for this game to click. I think I played couple of days for about one hour per day before I handled it. I think most people including you in the video ride stiff. It's the manual body control that keeps you on track. But I do recommend giving it a shot because it most likely will make all the other mx games feel like poo once you understand it more. Btw, the first track is sand, so it's very slippy on the stock bikes tyres.
@@MBF120 Shortest MXB career world record holder haha I don't blame you it's not very hop in and play type of game at first. I swear that gets easier... After few hundred hours. I do have stupid simple control setup and plenty of tips if you want to give it a shot
First of all get the OEMs then make your FOV 115 and go into dynamic first person cam it’s way better turn off most all aids other than clutch help and there’s one more then your good👍
try the new factory bikes mod, those are WAY easier to ride with. less wonky physics, and great two strokes. the base game just isnt the full experience, because the default bike is shit.
Bro if you're only really familiar with milestone games if you combine l/r lean with the steering it makes it so much better. Here's the link to the vid which helped czcams.com/video/nihU-905mQo/video.html
You don't need 1000 hours to "master it." Spend a couple hours a day tweaking controller settings (loads of vids on that btw) and you'll pick it up by the 15 hour mark.
So you don’t like learning and progressing to a rewarding level? Like dude just play for an hour a day for about a month and you’ll get the hang of it. Just seems lazy to me.

@@MBF120 good to hear man! Once you spend a lil time with it it’s soooo rewarding! Give’r a fair shake! 💪🏻

It really isn't that difficult. After tweaking controller settings, you get a really good flow and jist of things by 15 hour mark.

Definitely try first person lol, you don’t need to play 10 hours a day man
I stream and play this in virtual reality. It's amazing throwing big whips in vr. It's so close to real
this game is definitely not made for the 3rd person camera, use the dynamic first person and youll improve substantially

You should race at Spring Creek Motocross
When you turn, sit down and lean back/to the outside to prevent washing out
the OEM bikes that you can install are way less bouncy than the stock bike the game gives you
It's all about controller settings. The stock ones are impossible.
you need to get some mods and a tire pack it makes the game 10x better and more enjoyable
best mx game ever

...what does any of that even mean?

i got 100 hours on the game and i still suck lol, def try mod tracks and the honda 250 is the way to go for learning
