Yamaha is reportedly looking to relaunch their classic RD350 motorcycle in the near future, with a new model known as the XSR300. The bike is said to be based on the existing XSR900, with a slightly more affordable price tag.The XSR300 is expected to be released in the coming months. Yamaha has yet to officially confirm the news, but the bike is likely to be a popular choice for those who want to relive the days of classic two-strokes.The RD350 was a popular choice for many riders in the 1970s and 80s, and its relaunch will likely be met with great enthusiasm. 1990 களில் இந்த வண்டி 6 மாசம் வச்சி (செகண்ட் ஹேண்ட் தான்) இருந்தேன், பெங்களூரில் அன்றைய எம் ஜி ரோட்டில் (இரவு 11 மணிக்கு மேல்😂) 150 ஐ டச் பண்ணி ஓட்டியிருகேன். இப்ப நினைச்சா பயமா இருக்கு (அப்ப வயசு 22!!! இப்ப 52😂) ஹெல்மெட் இல்லாமல் , வெறும் நைட் ரைடு கிளாஸ் மட்டும் போட்டு ஓட்டியது😮😮😮. புத்தகம் அதிகம் படிக்கும் எங்க அம்மா பிரேக் பிடிக்காது வித்துட்டு வேற வண்டி வாங்கு இல்லைனா வேலையும் வேண்டாம் ஊர் வந்து சேர் எனும் தொல்லை தாங்காம இதை வித்துவிட்டு 93 மாடல் புல்லட் வாங்கினேன் அது இன்னமும் என் கூட இருக்கு அம்மா தான் இல்லை 😢, எனது கடைசி நாள் வரை இருக்கும்

Twin carburettor பற்றி எல்லாம் எனக்கு அன்று knowledge இல்லை (தம்பி நாங்க எல்லாம் 70s KIDS 😀😀) மைலேஜ் விரட்டி ஒட்டாமல் இருந்தால் 20 அல்லது 22 விரட்டி ஓட்டினால் 15 அல்லது 18 கிடைத்த நினைவு. அன்று பெட்ரோல் விலை மிக குறைவு மேலும் நான் அப்ப பஞ்சாப் அரசு நிறுவனத்தில் எஞ்சினியார வேலை பார்த்தேன் நல்ல சம்பளம் & பெட்ரோல் அலவன்ஸ் அதானால் தெரியவில்லை. அன்று 1990ல் BE படித்தவர்களுக்கு இப்ப மாதிரி இல்லாம நல்ல மரியாதை 😀😀
@@kssenthilkumar5802 முதற்கண் பதிலுக்கு நன்றி. RD350 க்கு இரண்டு சிலிண்டர், சமயத்தில் ஒரு சிலிண்டருக்கு சப்ளை இருக்காது. எனக்கு தெரிந்து 6 மாதம் மெயின்டன்ஸ் செலவில்லாமல் இருந்திர்கள் என்றால் நீங்கள் பெரிய அதிர்ஷ்டசாலி. அதிர்ஷ்டம் தொடர வாழ்த்துக்கள்.

Everyone has a dream vintage bike in their hearts. Mine are SUZUKI MAX100R n YAMAHA RD350. RD is because I always got fascinated of its straight powerful design which alone tells it's a monster among two strokes. SUZUKI is cuz it's my Appa's bike and this bike is one year elder than me. I remember some fainted memories of me and Appa riding at nearly 85kmph on MAX when I was like 4 or 5 yrs old. I often got amazed at its torque by seeing Appa takes and cuts through every traffics with his SUZUKI when he was young. Now I got yelled at by him for doing the same,....Haha!!! Me and my Sister grew up on SUZUKI's lap. But things will surely get old just like our Parents. We should take care of our Parents like they took care of their Parents. Also his memorable bike!. Now I'm currently restoring this SUZUKI MAX100R with most OE parts I can. From childhood I have huge interest on bikes and cars tech and engines, their rumbles n exhaust note. Soonly will finish my restoration and show it to Appa that I finished one of my bucket list!

Rd 350 had a liquid cooled version also. With farings and single caliper hydraulic disc brakes. It was named a rd350 lc.
