Couple of pointers.
1. Only 743 Yezdi 350s were made. Even fewer sold. Even fewer survive today.
2. The fully faired version for the Yezdi was called the Yezdi Supersprint. But that was a modification of the 250cc Roadking.
I am a proud owner of both the RD350 and Yezdi 350.
Wow thats an amazing collection you have.
This is not your ordinary uncle.
Agree
He is the OG uncle🔥😅
😅💥
😂😂
45 is not uncle. It's big brother.
The sound from the exhaust still reverberates in my ears. No bike currently in India can come anywhere close to this RD350, my elder brother owned one in the 80s. A league of its own, sadly lost on account of mileage. For a 350cc, high speed twin cylinder in India, it had its own clientele
Yes a twin 2 stroke bike has a tune that no modern 4 stroke bike can compete.
This bike belonged to me once upon a time and sold it in 2011. So happy to see the bike living a good life.
Your bike is in good hands
@@allaboutautomobiles. Yeah and i am glad it is.
Are you from bandra near Andrews college?
I can imagine how amazing rider he must have been in his young days, still can see his skills 🔥
Nice review.
I am 67.
Oh, there is nothing like a twin-cylinder 2-stroke that runs well. Here in my country, we never got the RD350. We got the RD400, RD350 LC, & RZ350. I can't recall the last time I saw a 2-stroke motorcycle on our roads.

Thank you for complementing the video, you guys were extremely lucky to have experienced the latest RD's and RZ's during the 70s to 80s.
It's unfortunate that these bikes have become rare.
The RD's here in India usually only come out either for weekend rides or such events.
You will occasionally see the RX 100 & 135 on our streets as an everyday office going bike.
The people in South India are true 2 stroke fanitics, and the culture over there is just unparallel.
@@allaboutautomobiles. Hi again. People in our country do not like motorcycles. We have a very small motorcycle population.
I have a Yamaha FZ25 for almost a year. Like the other small Yamahas sold by the dealer, it is made in India. The more powerful and off-road models are made in Japan.
It is just another 250 cc bike, a budget bike. But it works well, and is good on fuel. Not too much electronics to deal with.
The Yamaha dealer has a RZ350 as a showbike on display.
The biggest 2-strike I had was a Suzuki GT550 triple.
Thank you for your reply.

Damn.. he is just flying on the speed brake .. perfect race stunt
👍
i guess he is the coolest uncle 😅
This young man and his legendary bike. Nothing to say much.
The return of the Old Bawa Uncles ! ....doing what they do best!
👍👍
I have a 1973 RD350, I just dynod it, after a rebuild, with some porting, tmx35, power reeds valves, it was 53bhp on the rear wheel... 181kmh 😆 I love it! It is 50 years old
That's amazing. Keep her and pass her in your family. 2 srokes are built to last forever.
@@allaboutautomobiles. Yes 100% it took me a good few years to find her, but I had wanted another since I sold my 1984 HT in 1997.. then fast fwd 2022 .... my journey has just bought smiles
Owner is so knowledgeable. Salute to him.
I used to know Yazad way back (prior to 1996). It's good to see him again in this video. He had a passion for the RD even back then..
Only 90's kids know what yamaha really is ....❤️ reliability king 💯
Actually 80's and 90's ....am a 80's kid over here.
Great to see my bike featured here, I would have never sold this bike but Yazed is truly deserving and yes when I saw his face after he took it for a spin I knew he will not think twice! This bike has exceptional porting and the power delivery is unmatched and it goes hand in hand with the Ron Chinoy CDI system! This is one MAD RD350 Hybrid and Yazed Lord is crazy! Haha
Well am sure your bike could not have got a more suitable owner.
I loved my RD350 what a great bike.
Yes, she is an amazing bike
It's you who make your life awesome. A proud person living a bikers life & happy. I likeed the video fr him💕💕
I am glad for you to ask about cruising speed, rpm range and top speed. Most of the reviewers miss it. Nice review
Vintage bikes are absolutely delight to know about it
You never grow old riding motorbikes.. 😁
Especially Yamaha RDs..😎
You grow old once u stop riding them
Awesome... He just loves his bike.. n he knows bike in n out... see that passion...😍

Legend Uncle with his legendary bike🔥🔥🔥🔥
💯
That is such a gorgeous bike. Well used. It looks so happy!
This is one of the few RD's that are ridden and not just stored and admired.
I am 53 and have the same HT with points and I keep riding since I was 16teen.

Nice 👌, sir how much km/l ?
These clowns comparing it with 4 stroke Duke and other machines.... God have mercy
@@ajaygavhane4849 around 18-20 kms. Usuall I ride fast.
@@VJ-ee5ezthat's impressive
Nice 😊👍 one of my childhood dream bikes. I had a Enfield 500 then but this was a beast.
The iorn block 500?
@@allaboutautomobiles. not sure about the block but it was the first 500 cc by Enfield I remember, 1986 or 87 I think was the year. It’s still there with me 😎
The Roar wow ❤️ it
I'm definitely gonna be like this uncle in future if i become old ❤️
YAMAHA seriously needs to RELAUNCH this monster. The sound is pure automobile melody.
Amen to that brother
Yamaha Tried. But unfortunately they can't in India anymore. Cause, 2 strokes engine can't be on sale anymore.
@@Alchemy12 look,Feel and sound can be brought back with new technology,Market is growing with retro models bullet classic,Honda highness are examples

I owned this bike at one time killer bike 6gears but only to get parts n average was, a concern but pure power no other bike could beat this one especially the HT
Am sure you must have enjoyed the bike the time u had her.
Brilliant review
Thankyou
Dude this guys is so cool 😌✨
Nice review indeed. Learned a lot about 2 stroke twin cylinder scene in India.

Thankyou Shivani
guy is a Legend! Superb
💯
Happy for him..
I think he mistook the word “FLY-BY” .
Literally flied 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I've had this beauty since 2001.
Congratulations on owning a piece of history, which one is it, the HT or LT?
You can see the joy in his eyes
Way back in 2006, in my second year in college, I received an offer of an Orange RD 350 HT. Shodded with Pirelli tyres at just 30K. Kitna manage karney ki koshish Kia Papa ko... He never agreed...His main concern was never the speed, but the mileage that it would give..which wouldn't have been sufficient with my pocket money.
I wish I could have laid my hands on it.. would have kept it as a showpiece for ages. ❤️ Lovely coverage of a legendary bike!
We all have regrets of that one bike we wish we would have purchased, or in my case the one bike l wish l wouldn't have sold.
Same view here not Much cosmetics .The feel and performance of the bike is what matters.
RD love❤️❤️
It is / was monster..... Was my dream bike
In those days we used to call it 20-20 bike (as the same was available at 20k - second hand bike and used to give 20 kmpl milage)
20 - 20 😂😂😂😂😂
This is no ordinary CZcams channel
🙂👍
I just love RD 350 ❤️..
They are an evergreen bike that will never run out of fashion
Wonderful 😁✨️
When I was in college St Andrew's bandra nearly every alternate evenings one guy used to ride a RD 350, I always used to look at that bike and be like wish I had the pockets to buy this. It was aroun 90-100k back then around 5-7 years ago.❤
RD 350!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Red looks good on this RD
Kick ass video.
Thank you
I had a high torque yamaha rd 350 , TN 20B 9444 ..had t during college ,saved up money & got the beauty
2006 ter were poor quality replica parts and availability of parts were too rare ,& expensive, very hard to maintain esplly the point ones not cdi. U ride fr a month and 3 months n garage tuning t
Riding t was a pleasure ,even f i close my eyes i can still feel to this day ..the roar and blue smoke & petrol perfume on urslf and oil stained denims nd finger nails .. Eats up on ur wallet but overtakes and speeds lik no otr vehicles n road n those days. . ..as he said 120 kmph was the sweet spot ..no vibrations jus smooooooth cruising .
It was a well balanced bike. I used to do stunts (college day adrenaline) CHRIST (standing in the seat wit arms wide open ) while cruising at 80kmph .. Thise were the days no fear n no brains
Which i had to sell with a heavy heart .. Only regret of my life .
Still miss it to this day .
Now have a rc390 2016
Very well said, I could visualise the entire event in my head, I understand your feeling, My only regret in my life was selling my 1982 Yezdi, Had even offered to double the selling price to the current owner, but he just simply refuses to let go of her. Now thanks to social media, accessibility of spare parts is available.
Well I hope you purchase a RD again, will be worth every penny.
@@allaboutautomobiles. I wish . i traced my bike and heard it went for racing parts salvage ,hard to hear ..
Loved it. pls more 2 stroke videos
