Uruguay verdadero ejemplo para Latinoamérica. Gran país, hermosa gente, sociedad libre y equitativa. Su ciudad capital es fantástica. Muchos amigos allá. Un abrazo fraterno desde Colombia.

    Our country isn't exactly cheap.
Electricity costs US$ 0.20 per kWh.
    Toothpaste costs US$ 3.00 per 90g.
And the minimum wage is US$ 500 per month.

Let’s tell the full story: the minimum wage is U$500, but add to it free education, free health care, a thirteenth monthly salary as a bonus, four week paid vacation, six month paid maternity, etc. None of this is provided in the US, for example. So let’s compare apples to apples. Also, the minimum salary is a reference point. It does not mean that every entry level job pays that low.

98% of our **electricity** comes from renewable sources.
We certainly use tons of fuel to power vehicles.
